I need to know what Christians mean by 'The Trinity'. I have a vauge idea but i need a detailed description.

I know that as a christian, I have to love her and forgive her, but she winds me up.
I need advice from christians that are not going to just tell me to forgive, I'm currently living with her , I will move in November, but I need find a way of living in peace with her, I try to ignore her nonsense, but she is so insecure, at times I want to just give up on having any kind of relationship with her even when I move out. Help

Jehovah....YHWH....Yehawh....YHVH....pipi....LORD....Eli....etc.
And if he wanted his name known why dont people use it in reference. There are many gods out there. We dont call Zeus just god. So why dont we call God his name. Its like going around and calling people "Hey Human". They have specific names.

If so, then know that their claim is a boastful statement based on arrogance and the belief that faith alone will save them.

When they say they are guaranteed Paradise by faith then they have negated the value of the Mercy of God by not acknowledging that the final decision rests upon GOD and he will judge based on HIS criterion which may include the fruits of faith.

Therefore, there is no guarantee for Paradise based on anyones faith alone and nobody can be proud of their status based on faith.

If anyone tells you that if you bring faith into your life you will be guaranteed Paradise then know that they are boasting about something that is not in their control.

There is no real proof that logicians and scientists accept that these creatures exist: ghosts, spirits, fairies, dragons, Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, gods, angels, devils, demons, ET's, etc. There is also no reason to believe that Atlantis, UFO's, etc. exist(ed) either. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wanted to believe in spirits, fairies, etc. and became angry at his pal Harry Houdini for exposing many mediums as frauds. Many people become angry at anyone who disputes that such things exist, and if one proves it, they may want to kill the one who proved such a thing. I hope I do not need to report anyone who loses his temper here. I have done that many times. I warn everyone too that there are laws about defamation. I am an author, and I have sued men who went to far in what they said about me and my books. Please, try to answer the question logically. If it arouses emotions, move on to other questions. I have some theories, and I want to see if anyone has other ideas about this matter.

not keeping his word please explain Jesus stating he would return before his followers died? Either he kept his word and already returned and your belief in his returning in the future, or he did NOT keep his word to his followers.

Just some of the areas i am concerned with.I am a Singaporean so...

1. Is it compulsory to change one's name if you convert to islam?
2. Is there a society or org i can call to make inquiries?
3. Is there a waiting period bef the conversion takes place?
4. Since i am singaporean, are there any special rules i need to observe to convert?
Pls answer my qn only if you seriously know the procedure to convert to islam.

My boyfriend was allowed to invite 3 people. Well, one of those three people just messaged me and asked me if they can bring 3 more people. Everything is already prepared and it's just a small wedding (16 people). Born-agains seem to be so defensive. Is it because they really believe Jesus cannot take care of himself.
Why would a person who claims they could not comprehend my question because of their idea of grammer write 3 paragraphs against what they admit they do not understand. Or are they faking it like Jesus did.
All a good Christian needs is a good baseball bat to spread the good news.

Please Tell! I think I am on my way to the Grocery! While I am there I will pick up a brown bag for my Avacado's.

1-1/2 cups POST HONEY BUNCHES OF OATS with Almonds Cereal, crushed
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 Tbsp. honey
4 small ripe bananas, cut crosswise in half
1/4 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping



PREHEAT oven to 375ºF. Line 15x10x1-inch baking pan with foil; set aside. Mix crushed cereal and the cinnamon on large plate. Pour honey onto second plate.
ROLL each banana piece in honey, then in cereal mixture until evenly coated. Place in prepared baking pan.
BAKE 15 min. or until bananas are soft. Place two banana halves in each serving dish. Top evenly with the whipped topping.

I see many people who are so specific in their paganism. I believe in the existence of many gods and goddesses, this idea has always made sense to me, but I've never until recently wanted to pursue any kind of spiritual path.

As you sit on your computers go about your daily business, without GOD all you have is a false sense of your own safety....

The famous last words of *Todd Beamer* Let's Roll was his confidence that even though he knew this was it.. Reciting the Lord's Prayer to the 911 operator was the shield he knew GOD gave him when death was imminenet...

If in the bible it states that there is only one way and one religion (One God). Then wouldnt that mean that most are wrong. Also wouldnt it mean that a person would be disobeying their religion if they went to another church like to visit or something. Like if a Baptist went to a Methodist church to visit or hear their preacher. Like at Without Walls Internation Church (non denominational) have preachers from other doctrines come preach to their people. Wouldnt that be wrong? Futhermore, since most religions are the same or very close in doctrine wouldnt that mean that the "One Way" is going to be different than most churches?
