#1 Ignorance is disgusting.
#2 Judementalism is limiting.
#3 Discrimination is abhorrant.
#4 The only way to break the myths is to educate.

This is why I care about what others think about my beliefs, and those of other people who practice religions that aren't mainstream. I care because and uneducated public is not somethign this country or world should be proud of. Not one bit.

What is it that makes you believe. Is it to do with miracles, our existence, something that has happened in your life like a spiritual encounter. I would like to know why you choose to believe.

By the way, im not an atheist. I believe in God too.

If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.. I don't wanna report any answers..

And the religions that you can praise (yes you have to choose from below)
1. Christianity
2. Islam
3. Judiasm
4. Hinduism
5. Buddhism

Anyone who gives 5 THINGS THAT ARE GOOD ABOUT EACH RELIGION / FOLLOWERS will get extra credit (meaning, they will be more eligiable to get the best answer)

My answer :
I chose to praise Christianity, and my compliment, or w/e you may call it, to the Christian faith is that i love that they are taught to love thy enemies... I mean Love is the killer of all evil..

P.S --> i am a muslim

It kind of annoys me....I feel like they try to press you into attending church with them rather than just hearing the Word.

I'm not saying that all Jehovah Witnesses are like this but, this is what I experience.Does anyone else go through this too?

Anything besides what your bible tells you?

I don't use Voodoo dolls and pins. Sorry, your imaginations are getting out of control there. I use voodoo to being about desired results - love, luck, money - for instance. I ask the spirits for guidance in these POSITIVE areas of my life.

So not, those of us who aren't (as someone just re-sig'd themselves) jesus freaks, don't have heateful hearts and aren't soldiers of Satan. I believe in God and Jesus. I just chose to believe other things as well. That the Saints can help me - by the will of God. That I can pray on my own terms.

I also don't believe in "attacking" those who I don't share beliefs with. I don't say things like "Well, anyone who blah, blah, blah must be evil and satanic, because my way is the only way."

TOLERANCE! Where are the "believers" in religious tolerance? The "believers" in freedom to worship as you wish? The "believers" that know JUDGING others isn't so worthly of respect?

Jehovah's Witnesses. If oral sex is unclean and can lead to Judicial action... why would Jehovah be unclear about this in the scriptures... especially if He was clear and very specific in dealing with the Isrealites... why wasn't he clear and specific in the scriptures for His servants today? If something is seriously wrong in God's eyes... wouldn't He be clear about it? And what's the scriptural support for your answer? (This is not an attempt to criticize, but to get answers and an understanding.)

I must say it didnt do much for me seeing 2 men kiss, yet 2 women look hot.

I just wondered though if the kissing is classed as abomination or is it just if they have sex.

why does an apologist like Lee Strobel write a book that centrally attacks much weaker skeptical arguments?

Take for example, Lee Strobel's book "The case for Faith".
As far as a thesis goes, it is based on an attack 8 of the supposed "most difficult" arguments against believing in the the veracity of thechristian god.

The problem is that few (or almost none) of them are very strong reasons to not believe.

Here they are:
1. Since evil and suffering exist, a loving God cannot
2. Since miracles contradict science, they cannot be true
3. Evolution explains life, so God isn't needed
4. God isn't worthy of worship if he kills innocent children
5. It's offensive to claim Jesus is the only way to God
6. A loving God would never torture people in Hell
7. Church history is littered with oppression and violence
8. I still have doubts, so I can't be a Christian

I've had a lot of trouble trying to find a reasonably priced wig (no more than $40) online that is similar to Edie Sedgwick's hairstyle during her factory years. Has anyone found a short, pixie cut style online? Would a boy's short blond wig be easier to find/work well for the costume? I am not picky about a specific style, just one similar to what she had.

I keep noticing questions being posed to "believers". What does that mean?

I am not a believer becasue I am not Christian? Is that it? I praactice Voodoo - do I count as a believer? I do believe in God. Am I a believer now? I believe in life, death, and miracles (except I prefer to call them magic)? Am I a believer now?

What is your definition of a believer? It looks to me that it is just another word being used to "differentiate" youself from the rest of us - regardliess of what we believe!

I work as a switchboard operator/receptionist and there are a lot of times when people call in and mispronounce the names of my co-workers when they ask to speak to them. I can understand this since sometimes it can be difficult to hear names correctly over a phone. Is it impolite to correct the people who call in if they mispronounce a name? For example, my boss's name is Mai (pronounced "May") and people will call in asking for "Meg", "Megan", "My", etc.

If you get hate mail...do you respond to it??? I don't really get much but the first time I got one, I actually responded to it. It didn't do much by replying, they weren't trying to hear my point of view. There's no reasoning with the type of people who send hate mail anyway. So I decided not to reply to any more hate mail after that. I don't think people should give them the satisfaction of responding. So do you reply your hate mail?
