And how about tonsils?

What about genetic mutations that cause Downs? Mutation would be impossible if we were all designed to be as we are.

Ephesians 5
22 Wives, yield to your husbands, as you do to the Lord,23 because the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church. And he is the Savior of the body, which is the church.24 As the church yields to Christ, so you wives should yield to your husbands in everything.

Are there physical stereotypes of what you perceive Christian women to look like? The idea that someone "types" me by my faith is amusing. I'd love to hear...and Xtian ladies..feel free to chime in and dispell the myths.

There was an episode on the history channel about the Hittites on which it showed systems of underground cave cities where it stated that the Hittites went to protect themselves from their enemies. It also stated that the Hittites disappeared around 1200 BC, and that their disappearance cannot be accounted for.

The next day my husband and I were having our daily devotional. We were reading about the Israelites going in to conquer the land of Canaan (around 1200BC-1100BC). It tells of them conquering the Hittites, among others, and completely destroying them. Also, in Judges Chapter 6 it tells of the Israelites living in caves to protect themselves from invaders.

Seems to me this would explain the "unexplained disappearance" of the Hittites. Even if some people don't want to admit it, the bible is full of historical information.

Creationists assert that all the layers of the Grand Canyon were deposited in a single flood. For the cost of a few exhibits in the $27 million dollar Creation Museum, the scientists could mix the appropriate minerals in water and show they deposit in distinct strata. Why haven't they done this experiment?

According to my pastor, the only way to become an atheist is to be bitten on the neck by an atheist. But I was wondering, what about children who are born to atheist parents?

Since atheism is a blood-borne disease that is transferred through biting, wouldn't the children of atheist parents also be atheists? If so, does this mean there are two ways to become an atheist?

Especially if you're a little shy and are starting to open up more? How do you know when it's too much?

I have a fear of being rejected, ridiculed and ultimately abandoned by people, so I tend to stay rather quiet and shy around others. Even though I'm really quiet, people have said that I'm sweet and kind. But I want to overcome the shyness and am trying to by attempting to open up more to a few people.

So, are people just going to be glad I'm being more open or will they become detracted if I open up? In other words, how much is too much? And, how can you tell?

Why isn't he still doing it today?

I mean, if you want people to believe in God, that'd be a pretty good way to do it, right? To have God come down, gather up a pile of dirt, blow on it, and create a human being?

Haha, yeah I know, a variation on the old R&S favorite. Before you discount this though, please hear me out:

Im having a discussion concerning NDE's with a Christian friend. He asked for an example of an NDE that doesnt mention God/Jesus. So, I provided one from a Jewish woman, who claimed to have met the Messiah, although she could not identify him... (because Jews do not believe that Jesus was the Messiah.)

My friend claims that this was indeed Jesus, just that he was appearing to her in a form she would recognize... (fair enough).

If thats the case, then that means that Jews are wrong and that Christians are right - Jesus IS the Messiah. And, since Christianity is Judaism under a new covenant - then why do Jews still exist?!?!?! Furthermore, if Jews are then wrong, then isnt Christianity wrong because it is based upon a faulty religion?

I think Im over thinking this and confusing myself...brainfart anyone?

I just recently attended a Penacostal church with one of my guy friends...I'm used to going to a Baptist church so, there were some major differences. I was definately not prepared for everyone praying outloud at once...my church is sit down, shut up, and listen to the message that clearly wasn't *given* to the preacher...It was so much more upbeat...I loved it!

Anyway,
Can somebody give my a website or just tell me some of the ideas behind the penacostal faith because I'd like to know more about it.

My work ethic is going down hill. I work at Walmart, and most of you know how Walmart is. People just don't care. Well, let me tell you, it's not just with customers, it's with employees too. I don't know how many times I had to TELL MY MANAGER when I worked again. I thought that was HIS job? He tried to get me to go back to deli when I was in personal, and I said hey look, you know I'm out at 3p.m. He just had t his look on his face and left.
My work ethic is going down hill there. It seems like everyone is only out for themselves, and doesn't really care about you, so I'm starting to get that way. I'm a hard worker, and I really don't like what I'm becoming. Should I suggest to my boss, or his boss ways to improve team effert in the store, or should I just leave it alone and look for another job? I plan on going to school soon, but honestly I need money to go to school, which is where Walmart comes in. I'm 27,

This is one way to shut down a false religious cult such as LDS, huh? Can you imagine being a young woman and being forced by a filthy slob pervert who uses false religion to get over on little girls and other women for sex?

He called it "Freedom of Religion". Aren't men so outrageous that they would sink so low to get to that vagina to satisfy their own selfish sexual and sexist appetites by using a so-called religion to forward their filth cause?
