They either are a little lax and say a day to God is a 5 billion years or you get a typical creationist who genuinely seems to know absolutely nothing about the universe in which they live.

IF you are a creationist Christian: Why if the universe is young, does it take our solar system 220 million years to complete just one revolution of the core of our galaxy?
and if it's young, how do you explain the time it takes for the light of stars to reach our earth?

It's more of a life philosophy than anything. There is no worshipping, and you are constantly reminded to use reason over the Buddhist text. Whatever the case, it certainly is the perfect way to live!

About two years ago I was working with a priest. A holy priest who has a great love the Blessed Virgin Mary and Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Now on this particular evening at the end of Mass the priest approached me and asked me to get the lay charismatic prayer group leader and an American lay guest who had worked in lay ministry for over twenty years and take them back to the presbytery.

During this time the priest had been talking with a mother who she had brought to the priest in suspicion that her son was demonically possessed. Her son was in his twenties. The son was also taken back to the presbytery. He sat there in the presbytery looking numb and dazed and saying very little.

However, the priest entered the presbytery and closed the door. He had also asked a few holy women in the parish to pray in the church for us as we did ministry in the presbytery.

I understand it can be an individual thing too. I understand it sometimes depends on how good the dialect coach is. But honestly, more brits seem to be able to fake a believable american accent than vice versa; especially in movies. Although I have to say, irish actors do a really good job of it also, like Colin Farrell. American actors rarely pull of the brit accent.

Hello Everyone... I'm reading some of these answers and everyone is getting a little too deep here.... That question before "the lesbian goddess" she was totally frustrated... Even if you’re straight you all know why. I try to ask a question on a form that is for gay/ lesbian/bi/ transgender and you get all these burn in hells, you sinner, I'm a married straight man and your asshole. This is a section for us to communicate with each other, to help on another... I wouldn’t go to the cooking section if all I wanted to do was burn food.... Please tell me you all aren’t frustrated as well....Please all the straight people that support us, friends, please who belong on here.. Do you not understand why I could be frustrated?

My husband and I were invited to our friends home for dinner. We thought there would be four of us. Then a few days later we were informed by email that 2 additional guests were coming and that we might not like them. Is it O.K. for the host to
invite other guests without asking the original guests if they mind since it was only supposed to be a foursome originally?
