Well.. kinda like Rolaids.. "How do you spell relief?"

Isn't it funny that we attack anyone who blurts anything against Israel or the Jewish faith and label them as anti-Semitic? Why on the other hand do we feel "free" to act in an "anti-Semitic" manner towards other faiths and particularly Muslims?

Last night on Jay Leno's show, he told a joke using the word "Islamists." No one really laughed. No headlines were read this morning objecting to such statements. But consider this: if he had replaced the word with "Jewish" then the whole country would have been up in arms against him [Jay Leno].

Double standards?

And we wonder why the world hates us?

PLEASE READ THE DETAILS TO UNDERSTAND MY POINT.

Everyone talks about "Pascal's Wager" where it is better to believe in God FOR YOUR OWN salvation. That is probably true. But I will tell you this: I would much rather defy God and not be so selfish as to worry about only myself, but about others. I find that religious people do good to get into Heaven. And religious people aren't really all that great towards humanity anyway. I would rather be supportive of human equality (civil rights, gay rights, homosexuality, interracial marriage, gay marriage, etc) than against it like religious people are. I would rather see what science has to offer us in stem-cell research and cures. I would much rather help the homeless and the poor rather than say God made them that way, they are inferior, do not concern yourself with helping them. There would be less wars, pogroms, jihads without religion
That's my wager. If God exists at my death I will tell him my complaints about his actions & inaction.

Christian preachers on TV tell us that the Supreme Being can and DID make an entire universe out of noting, in only seven days.
Yet these same preachers tell us that this omnipotent Creator cannot create a simple paper envelope with money inside. They claim that the Creator wants us to send our money to them, and that the important things the Creator wants done, the Creator cannot possibly accomplish without our money.

I would dearly love to hear from people who send money to the TV preachers, explaining why the Creator lacks the power to provide hairspray and cars to these preachers, without your money.

for those of us christians who feel that the whole transexual thing is a sin, what if that person decides and relize that what he did was wrong and would like to follow the path of a true christian what could they do?do they have to start acting dressing as thier original sex?

Help, ever since I moved in with my gf she has become a totaly different person than the one I fell in love with. She used to be strong, independant and thoughtful. Now, she's became this whiney, clingy, pouty, needy, selfish butt head. She doesn't want me to do anything without her, and when I do, she gets all pouty. She has to be within 3 feet of me all the time. Seriously, I tested it out one day, I kept moving away from her and she kept following me. I like my independance and I can't stand it any more, she's driving me crazy! I've tried to talk to her about it be she always just says " I know, I'm sorry" and then gets all moody for the rest of the day. If things don't change, even though I love her, I don't know if I can stick around. Any thoughts on why this personality change would happen or what I can do about it?

To Gays, lesbians, and bi's? Our world is at war, but for some that is the worst of their worries. I'm catholic and bi, yet I still walk into God's house feeling loved. Every day goes by faster and faster, more disrupted, and more reckless then ever before. Still no one is trying to slow it down, but instead they are trying to add to the flame fueling the speed more. Why does who a person chooses to love or go to bed with matter? For those of you who have the nerve to say that God hates Gays, Lesbians and even bi's, have you ever thought about why they are the way they are? I know several women that tried to be with men. What happened to them was not just them being unnhappy, but them getting beaten almost to death for a reason that some think is unnatural. I don't want to tell you to think a certain way. That isn't my job, but neither is it yours to tell people what God doesn't approve of. I just wish that one day we can look past our differences. Thanks for reading this.

Im not endorsing the Davinci code..but I cant see anything wrong with being married to the Lord Jesus if He wanted a human wife. It wouldnt change the fact that only He is God..and only one could die to save us. Im His cousin since Im jewish. Im of the House of David....that doesnt make me special or to be anything but a child of God. Why would it be wrong for Him to have a wife? Hes God...He can do anything He wants. He will marry ALL of us in Heaven. Sorry, ( not really..lol ) but I dont think there would be a thing wrong with it if he chose a human wife.
