Theorem: 4 = 5
Proof:
-20 = -20
16 - 36 = 25 - 45
4^2 – 9x4 = 5^2 – 9x5
4^2 – 9x4 + 81/4 = 5^2 – 9x5 + 81/4
(4 - 9/2)^2 = (5 - 9/2)^2
4 - 9/2 = 5 - 9/2
4 = 5

and don't tell me it doesn't work. It does.

That is, can you say 5i > 3i?

Provide a proof as well, not just an assertion.

What is an equation or the answer to this problem:

I have to come up with the solution of four random digits. What are ALL my possibilities from 0 -9 for four random digits, or what’s the equation so that I can attempt to solve it on my own or get my calculator or computer to do it for me?

Example: _ _ _ _ or ? ? ? ?

Example:
0000
2345
9999

And so on…

At least tell me how many possibilitys 4 digits can have with 0-9 being the digits.
That will help A LOT too.

THANK YOU!

I need to know the name of the number I.E. million billion trillion Ect.
I am trying to find out how many possible credit card combinations there are. The highest experation date as far as the month/year goes is 12/10, so if we start from 07/06 we end up with 41 possible categories, so if we take our number that comes after 999trillion and times that by 41 we end up with all possible combinations for the next 3 years 5 months. Minus unusable numbers like 0000 0000 0000 0001. On any given credit card you may have 4 zeros in a row so in reality all combinations possible would have to be nine hundred ninety nine billion times 41.
Example: 5667 9877 0000 1234 Exp. 09/05
Any thoughts?

Using all numbers 1 - 9 construct the tic tac toe board so that the rows, columns, and diagonals each have a different sum.

123
456
789

The above does not work because there are multiple lines that add up to the same number 15.

Good luck !

Can you do it by subtracting x from the left side only and subtracting 0.999 from the right side only.

The question really is, can you do an operation on one side of the equation without doing the same thing to the other side.
