can science explains these questions?
Where did the universe come from? When and how did it all begin? How did the universe develop into its present form? Why is there a universe at all? What is it that makes existence here and now possible? Why is there something rather than nothing? And other questions about free will? the nature of consciousness? the forces that caused the big bang - or even what came before the big bang?if science can explains these questions,Iwill ask why they are at all comprehensible?why?hehe, why exists answer, why ask?

What if we used 2*Pi as the constant of choice?
Ti = 2*Pi

Then
Circumfence of a circle = (r)(Ti)
Full circle has Ti radians
Formula for volumn of a cylinder containing a sphere = (Ti)(r^3)
Limit as x approaches infinity of (x)sin(360 deg / x) = Ti

The only formula that I know off of the top of my head that is simplier using Pi is the area of a circle, but doesn't it make more sense as (Ti)(r^2)/2 based on the integral of the circumfrance?

A man is on a game show with the top prize of 1,000,000. However, for every percent of money won he has to give that amount of money to taxes. (If he won 100,000, since it is 10% of 1,000,000 he would have to give away 10,000 and keep 90,000). What is the most amount of money he could possibly win if every money value is a possibility.

I have to choose the pairs below that satisfy (f o g)(x)=x

My hunch is pair 2, but I don't know if thats right... i guess there could be more than one pair.

pair 1
f(x) = x^2
g(x) = x^3

pair 2
f(x) = x+2
g(x) = x-2

pair 3
f(x) = 3x
g(x) = -2x

pair 4
f(x) = 2x
g(x) = x/2

I have a few questions here, if anyone could provide answers, I would really appreciate it. I have already been through my book time and time again, I don't understand this crap. I've failed the class one and don't want to fail it again. I really need quick help here.... I'm beyond the "hints" stage at this point.

1) I have a graph. The x values are -5, -3 and 1. I need to find the y values for the inverse function f^-1

2) Given f(x) = x/2 find f^-1(4)

3) Given f(x) = 8x^3 and g(x) = 2x find each of the following

(f*g)(x)

(f/g)(x)

4) Given f(x) = 6x and g(x) = -2x, find each of the following

(f+g)(x)

(f-g)(1)

None of my teachers could ever give me a straight answer to this. My assumption is that you'll say one of the following:

zero
one
infinity

If you have an answer, please back it up with reasoning. Thank you very much!
