I am trying to statistically normalize a behavioral dataset so that variables from different participants have the same minimum and maximum point. i.e. responces from different participants can have the same minimum and maximum variable. I tried logarithms but they dont work with negative values. Normalization such as standard deviation does not work either. What is the formula for my problem how can I do that?

I have three marbles in a bag. Red, Yellow and Blue. If I reach into the bag without looking and randomly pick one out, and then place it back into the bag, and repeat this 15 times, what are the odds that I will not get a blue one a single time? So out of all the tries what are the odds of it not happening?

I take a piece of paper, break it into two pieces. Is it true that mathematically speaking, the chance of one piece being exactly 5cm is 0? (In fact in that case the chance of any value coming up is 0, which is a horrible paradox...)

Every answer I got to my earlier question assumed that A=0. That's silly. Anyone knows that! I was asking for something more complex than that. Can A+B=B, where A does NOT = 0?

There must be an answer to this. I can't imagine that this world does not provide an answer for this.
