Recently a picture surfaced of a super nova that occured over 260 billion years ago. My question is, is there away to capture an image of something happening in the univirse far off as it's happening; and is the reason because the univirse has some gigantic 'time zone' thing preventing this?

So if you believe in the Big Bang theory and not Original Creation, can you explain how organic matter (i.e bacteria and single celled organisms) came to be when there was only inorganic material such as metals and rocks and gasses. And if you believe in that theory, what is to say that inorganic matterial could not create organic matterial again?

I'm curious on what the scientific community's stance is on the subject of using materials from earth for space travel and what consequences it has on earth's environment (i.e taking matter out of earth's environment) and also how they feel it effects the universe. I'm also curious as to how the scientific community feels about introducing foreign non terrestrial matter into earth and how it might change or create variables in the universe.
