On the news that earth may be destroyed on 5 billion years time it got me thinking...

Many scientists believe traveling at light speed is impossible regardless of technological advances.

This makes me wounder how are we going to populate other inhabitable solar systems many light years away?

Stasis i.e. freezing then toughing years later is my only suggestion.

Any other ideas how we will populate planets thousands of light years away without being able to travel at light speed?

If we built a football field on the surface of the moon, would we be able to see it from Earth using the world's most powerful telescope? Could we see a man standing on the moon using the Hubble telescope?

I have, on Real TV.
I thought the Sun was a ball of gas, but it sure looked like a pebble being dropped in a bucket of water with the rippling effect.
I also thought a meteor would burn up before hitting the Sun,
I was wrong again.
(Must have been a big meteor.)

My boyfriend (who is incredibly intelligent recently told me that sometime during the 80's America (NASA, I would assume:)) launched a message to space in an attempt to introduce ourselves to "aliens". The message apparently had a picture of both a male and female who were saying hello. I've tried using both google and wikipedia and have found nothing.
I don't believe he just made this up, he's full of random facts.

This year Daylight saving time came earlier than I ever remember. Like it was just new years and now we are almost six months into the year. The kids are growing up so fast we have to do a double take when we wake up and see them the next day. That is some of the things I noticed tell me what you see!

I understand Absolute zero is the coldest it can be, does anyone know if there are any limits to how hot it can be? I heard that during the big bang temperatures reached into the millions of degrees, but is there a max it can be?

A Moon landing is the arrival of an intact manned or unmanned spacecraft on the surface of Earth's natural satellite. The first manned moon landing was the United States' Apollo 11 mission, commanded by Neil Armstrong accompanied by Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin. While fellow crew member Michael Collins piloted the command module Columbia, Armstrong landed the lunar module Eagle on the surface of the Moon at 4:17:42 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, July 20, 1969.

But most of the people in the world believe that, this is Actually a Big Blunder from America.

At that time every where Soviet Union wins..
1) They first send Satellite
2) They First send Animal to the Space
3) They first send Human to the Space
4) They first send a Robotic satellite to Moon called "Lunar Module"

Due to that reason American Govt. get upset and they conduct this dramma.

Now a days all the Universities ask NASA for that video film that they told recorded by Edvin

But now NASA told that is missed. because if any body check on that film they immediately identify this high tech dramma (now a days this is not a high tech dramma)

My defintion of void is absolute Nothingness. As opposed to space void has absolutely no atomic particles or atomosphere. There is no light and no dark. Just nothing and nothing cannot be measured because it has no form.

My theory- I believe that space does in fact have an end and is not infinite. I think space is contained within the void. Scientist say the universe is expading based on the fact that atomic matter in space is moving apart. I think whats happing is space is expanding into the void.
If a spaceship was to travel into the end of space the vessel wouldnt travel through space into void. Rather the vessel would travel to the end of space and get eatin up by the void. Get swallowed by the nothingness. I think the only thing that can fill the void is the expansion of space.

It was made from a pre-printed paper that he was just supposed to fold and tape along the lines. It was sort of round octaonal shaped. I would like to know where it came from and some more speific details on assembly and launching. He just built it at school and brought it home. Said another kid gave one to everyone in the class and told them to go to the hobby store and buy rocket engines for it.
