Pregnancy - March 2007

I just went into the doctor's bc I was having a lot of discharge. It ended up not being amniotic fluid, but they did an ultrasound to check out myu levels. She said it was at a 10. I am 33 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Baby looks great!! She said that this was fine...but online I see that 10 is considered low.

Should I call back?? Or wait till my next appt. What can do I to get the levels up. Now I am worried about him being stillborn...god, sometimes I hate the internet!!!! Now I will do nothing but worry!!

Please any advice...is this normal, good, or low??

Hi. I am just about 11 weeks pregnant. Last week I had some extremely light spotting, went to the doctor, and he said the best thing to do was wait and see because you can't stop a miscarriage. I have had similar spotting this week too.
I had an ultrasound at 8.5 weeks and we could see and hear the baby's heartbeat. My baby book says that if you can hear the heartbeat at 8 weeks than the rate of miscarriage drops down to 5%. It would suck to be in that 5% because I am so looking forward to this baby.
So my question is: is a little spotting normal? Am I in that stupid 5%? I am trying to stay positive but am a bit paranoid lol.

Im just wondering is it safe to have sex after 36wks bc i am now 37wks and 2 days due with twins pretty soon...but im scared bc baby A's head is already low..just confusing right now.

My wife was expected to deliver on 04.02.07,She is still in antenatal ward, what might be the cause to this? Is there any harm to the unborn baby? Please help..

I am 5 months pregnant (w/a girl) and feel fat and ugly. I am normally apprx. 110 pds and now I'm 135 pds. With my first 2 (boys) I actually felt pretty. Now I am tired, I have vericose veins that kill my legs, My back is in so much pain, Stretching is uncomfortable, and I just feel fat and ugly! I'm having a bad day. Have any moms out there felt like this during pregnancy? Did you feel better after delivery? Did the vericose veins go away?

i have been hospitalized with a sever case of hyperemesis,the worst any doctor has seen around here. i have lost 18 lbs in 4 weeks and have also not been able to take prenatal pills.my question is this...does anyone else out there have unbelievably bad breath along with the hyperemesis?my breath since becoming pregnant has been outragouse and i have an infection in my tonsils,but i constantly have mucus running down my throat and no matter what i do i can't get fresh breath. i carry around gum,pepermint and my tooth brush and tooth paste but it makes me so sick. every morning i am now throwing up the mucus that runs down my throat at night and my breath during the day turns my stomach that i think this may have a huge impact on my hyperemesis.any suggestions people would be great. i have asked so many doctors and they can't give me anything for my throat infection so i need something that is safe.please,i am desperate!

hi yes, my friend recently just found out she was pregnant which she is very happy about, but she asked me this question and i couldnt answer it, so i figured id ask you guys and see if u could help her out, or give me an answer to give to her.. she had sex with her ex on jan 12th and than her and her boyfriend got back together on the 20th, she had her period from the 16th-20th... Normal bleeding for her and everything, than her and her man had sex basically everyday from the 20th til who knows when, than she found out she was pregnant when her period didnt come feb 20th... is it a possiblity she is preg with her ex, even though she had her period after they had sex? or is it with her boyfriend of 4 years? I hope you guys can help me out to answer her this question, bc she is very scared, and doesnt know what to do and i cant help her...

I am 4 1/2 months pregnant. My boyfriend doesn't want the baby. He acts like he does when he is around my family and his family but, when were alone all he talks about is how the pregnancy annoys him and how I need to get rid of it. I am haveing a little girl. Which when he found out, got even more annoyed. Since then, we've not seen each other. We talked on the phone and everything but, I've hoped that "space" could give me time to think. Especially on what I should do. My question is: Should I stay or go?

At 8 weeks preg & 22 Weeks preg I have been confirmed to be a carrier for Strep B.

From what I understand, the routine way to treat this (to prevent harm to the baby) is to be given antibiotics intraveniously during delivery.

Has anyone had this done? I *loathe* IV drips - I wouldn't mind an injection, but would rather not have to deal with a IV drip while giving birth. Does anyone know which they do? Can you get it done at the beginning of labour instead of the delivery itself?

I plan to talk to my midwife about it on Monday, but was just looking for other peoples opinions and experiances.

ok so this is my first pregnancy and my whole life i have wanted a baby girl....im having problems trying to come to terms that it may be a boy im only 11 weeks but the thought of having a boy breaks my heart i dont know why but it makes me even more sad to think that way...what the heck is wrong with me...and if i do have a boy will my feelings change when i find out....HELPP!!!

Im pregnant!!!!?
Im 17 and just took a clear blue pregnancy test, which said i was pregnant, and now im freaking out....my boyfriend was with me when i took the test...well in the same house...and was on the phone when i should him it...is it normal for him to not react at all??? he doesnt even seem nervous...


i posted this question about 8 months ago, i had jsut found out i was pregnant, well i am married now, and am due in 11 days, so obviously i decided to keep the baby, but im really concerned because although my husband is really into the pregnancy, he still claims he is not nervous at all, is this normal??

im 28 weeks pregnant and two months ago in january i had a severe sinus infection and was put on antibiotics ..now in march i went to the doctors today and found out i have bronchitis..so she gave me another antibiotic..i know she said it was fine b.c the medicine she gave me is zithromax and is a class b..but im worried b.c i have already been on it once this year..can being put on an antibiotic more than once while being pregnant hurt the baby or should he be fine?
