He sucks on his thumb now and never has taken a pacifier. I just started getting him to take a bottle. I have to put some baby food on the nipple otherwise he won't take the bottle. I have put some baby food on a pacifier but he spits it out when all the baby food is gone I'm just thinking ahead, it'll probably be easier to get him to stop taking a pacifier as opposed to stop sucking his thumb?

My husband and I are hoping to have a baby in the near future, and we are discussing whether or not to have the baby cirmcumcised if it's a boy. I've researched it on WebMD, and most experts seem to agree the slight medical benefits are not worth the pain and possible complications of circumcision.

My husband's argument is that he'll be teased when other boys see him in the locker room or bathroom. He doesn't want to subject our son to that kind of embarrassment. I disagree, because almost all children are teased at some point and kids will tease about anything and everything--hair, clothes, height, weight, etc--just to make themselves seem powerful.

If you have not been circumcised or have not had your son circumcised, please tell me if my husband is right or if I am. Will everyone notice the difference and tease him? Do you regret your (or your parents') decision?

Okay well I recently moved downstairs and my 3 cats who used to have a whole room to play around in are now in a pretty big storage closet type of room...and I recently had a baby 2 weeks ago...this is why they are in there...I let them out once in a while, but only when the baby's out or under my supervision...and my mom used to be able to walk in and the cats were fine, especially with my oldest cat who's 6 years old, but she's recently become really aggressive towards anyone but me...if I go in, they come rushing and surrond me wanting my attention, but as soon as my mom trys to, they attack and hiss at her...my oldest and the youngest have always hisses at each other, but it seems worse now...I know they miss me and prolly are frusterated with less room to themselves..now...so what can I do to stop this?
I try to spend as much time as possible with them, seeing as I'm always home...what can I do to stop all this or help out so that my mother can be able to get stuff and not worry??

what do you think goes with the last name "bui" (pronouces as bouy, like a water bouy) and a name that wouldn't be easy for kids to pick on?

alana bui
trish bui
michelle bui
paige bui
or does anyone else have ideas?

I understand that new parents are excited and proud. Thats great, but they don't seem to realize the entire world does not necessarily feel the same way. Like the guy who wants to take his baby to the theatre so his kid can ruin everyone else's evening.

New parents: Please, please, please observe proper ettiquette! Don't change your child's diaper on the table in the middle of the restaurant, people are trying to eat! Don't take your baby to the theatre! Don't allow your toddler to throw food at other restaurant patrons! Use some bloody common sense!

I really really hate the fact that I'm 27 and have to go through seeing pregnant women waddling in the streets. I can't help but get angry at them. And I think its all because I live alone - I have no man, I have no life, all I do is go to work, school and salsa class. But it really angers me to see these pregnant women. They make me feel like I am not woman enough in this world. Is this a normal reaction? because I don't like this ugly feeling but they make me so mad....

While at Walmart this morning my little one decided to poop so I took her into the restroom but I wasnt sure whether or not to use that changing table thing they got on the wall. So i just reclined her stroller seat and changed her diaper in there. Wasnt sure how dirty that thing was.
