We are supposed to have separation of church and state and many atheist are honest, upstanding citizens as well as honorable & good family people. In fact, some are better than the so called religious people. Disbelief in a god doesn't make a person bad. So, why not?

vote for anyone who is not a Republican regardless of the issues? In their minds are they voting AGAINST Republicans or FOR Democrats? Frankly, given the platforms and the issues for which the Dems stand on, and what the Reps stand on, I'm inclined to vote FOR a Republican candidate.

And please no "I hate Bush" rants. He is not running.

if i want them so bad, i should fund them myself.

by that philosophy -- we being able to choose where are tax money goes to -- how should i let the irs know that i don't support the iraq war, and thus do not want my tax money going towards it? this tax write off will allow me to help fund the social programs, like they mentioned. plus the conservatives will be the only ones paying the 1 trillion dollar bill that goes with the iraq war. so everyone's happy.

what has caused the warming over the past century?

or do you not think there has been any warming? do the thermometers and ice core samples have a liberal bias?

if you think man is not to blame (or that co2 is not the cause), what do you think the cause is? please use experimental data to back your claim. using only "natural" factors, the earth's temp would have risen .16 centigrades. the observed temp increase was .74 centigrades. this increase is not normal and by no means gradual. when you compare solar output, co2 levels, sulfate levels, etc. (all known factors) up against the temperature increase, the only one that correlates is the co2 graph. some scientists claim that there could be another factor at play (also take note how 99% of them believe AGW is likely), but the scientists have not said what that factor might be. if you don't know the factor either, then are you in agreement with me that man made global warming (by co2) is the only current possible explanation?

Undisputable proof has surfaced, china town min. wage earners are maxed on political contributions. Did Hillary really believe no one would take notice? These people earn less than 20k a year and seem to be able to afford the maximum contribution. Once again by their (democrats) own actions, they have proven they don’t care what laws are broken, what lies are told, and many other despicable unlawful and unprofessional behavior… as long as democrats regain total power. They are just fine with it.

1) Outlaw lobbyists - They are a phone call away from our government leaders but have you tried talking to your senator lately.
2) No more career politicians- let them SERVE the country with the knowlege that they are doing it to better our government, not their bank account.
3) Really cap campaign contributions- The goverment has 5,000,00 tax codes so I am sure they can come up with a way of tracking contributors.
4) Eliminate pork barrel projects- A bill must stand on its own merits, not get passage based on how much of the citizens money they are willing to waste to get some piecs of crap legislation passed.

I know we could all name 1,000 points but these are the ones I would vote hell yes for.
