if marxist communism is such a wonderful thing and capitalism is so awful, then why did communist govt's have to keep their citizens behind a wall with machine guns and barbed wire? why are cubans risking their lives in shark infested ocean to defect to the evil capitalist america? why would there be defectors in the first place if communism is so great? plus, how many people are trying to defect to a communist nation? how many americans are risking their lives to escape to cuba or any other utopian "worker's paradise"?? did it occur to you that these people knew a little more about communism than you?

Since 1947, the Physicists at the "Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists" have moved the Doomsday Clock closer to/further from doomsday (i.e. midnight) in relation to the world's state of affairs.

Given that the Physicists didn't consider moving up the clock in 2003 before the Iraq war, but are considering moving up the clock in response to North Korea, do you think (and I know this is a stretch) that a bunch of dorky looking Nobel Laureate Physicists are smarter and wiser than George W. Bush? Just a thought...

Who knew that eliminating our civil rights would be such a good campaign tactic. "Vote Republican. They will eliminate all of your civil rights by the end of his term!"

How can the Dem's compete with that?

In the British Mandate of Palestine, with much of the land now known as Israel, the British could have instead created a huge housing project, whereby people could have constructed houses side by side along with the Palestinians. They would have no reason to fight for the land because they would both live in it. Do you think this idea would have prevented the long struggle between these two groups?

ill try to keep it simple..
Am no American.. but from what iv seen and heard and read( i can figure out that).. Mr bush isn't that much ov a thinker ,the man cant evn think for himself..he cant think on his feet.. not much ov a speaker also,, he says things like its a script or something..basically hes no politician.. hav u evr seen a democratic country elects the son ov a former president.. what are the odds in that hm-mm..

basically why don't people blame the people behind the scene that sture things up.. and write his scripts..??

p.s...if u know more about this subject..please tell me more ^_^
