I read a couple of articles today about the existing and expected shortage of water around the globe. One specifically attributed shortages of water to the demand for irrigation to grow good and biofuels. Are there any unintended consequences to our global water supply from using ethanol to power our cars instead of gasoline, a resource that we get from beneath the ground and is used for no other purpose?

the wages for coffee bean pickers is very low, 7 dollars a year. the liberals should at elast double the price they pay per cup in order to aleviate some the opression of the poor mexican coffee bean pickers. to ignore theor plight is criminal and bigoted.

Not aggressive enough to ask the real tough questions, not to mention, letting those culprits off the hook too easily, thus don’t learn from mistakes but continue to them. An experiment. Whether you are on the right or the left, tell me one thing you think we( that is, republican and democrat) should be able to agree on and one thing you would be willing to give up in the political discussion. Let's exchange ideas for a change.

I think that we can all agree that all US citizens under 18 should have access to some form of health care. I would be willing to support a flat tax code.

Quid pro quo. If you can't think of something to give up or some common ground, just do one or the other. Let's not snipe, please. There are plenty of other questions here to do that on.
