I'm asking seriously. To me, it's obvious his administration has been plagued by many lies. I'm trying to understand why somebody would still support George Bush. So I'm looking for a real answer - if you want to just pile up abuse on me for asking, that's your perogative, but it won't get anyone anywhere. Also, please don't tell me Clinton also lied. I'm aware of Clinton's indiscretions. It's Bush I'm asking about.
Bush finally admitted to wirte-tappings and secret prisons which he formerly denied. He also admitted Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, although to me, in the weeks leading to the war, he did link the two on every occasion possible.
So do you a) Think he didn't really lie - explain why, or b) Think that he had to lie in order to do his job properly and that the American public is better for it, or c) Something else?
Feel free to expand.
Thank you.
