(an in-between mixture) think they are open-minded? Just wondering, to me it sounds like they could be closed minded because most of them already ruled out the possibility of being one or the other.

I can think of five family members and friends off the top of my head who are on some sort of public assistance, such as WIC and/or Social Security. Every one of them supports G.W Bush and proudly displays their "W" bumperstickers on their old, beat up cars. Why are some people so morbidly stupid that they can't understand that if G.W had his way, they wouldn't recieve any public assistance?

Here is a news release from Senator Carl Levin (Democrat Michigan) stating that the intelligence given related to the link between Saddam Hussein and al-queda was faulty.

Do you still trust your President to be honest and ethical or is he tunnel visioned to ignore factual evidence?

And you thought a blue dress and a cigar was worthy of impeachment?

Consider:

SHIRAZY-DOO
Why are the majority of 30 year olds in college liberals?
Is it because they don't want to grow up and face the real world. I was liberal for a short time in my life. Then the acid wore off.
Additional Details
I went to college and most of the 30 somethings I met there were liberals.

1-If they are in college, they are probably trying to face the real world.
2-If you've even taken acid you are probably prone to make such
generalizations. It's called an inablity to think.

Liberal beats Facist.
Let's not kid ourselvres here. This question is same screwball teeth nashing hateful conservative attitude that acused Democrats of "oppressing the masses" with "programs'.Even most blacks are embarrased by that kind of psudo-conservtaive black eccentricity.

I believe the question shows how far the conservatives have to go in treating people like human beings, and a LOT to learn if they ever want to try to deceive people into actually buying into their poison.

Would the rest of the world have come into Afghanistan to help rebuild and restore infrastructure damaged by US bombing, Soviet invasion and occupation and years of neglect?

Would US voters and tax payers have supported massive amounts of financial aid to rebuild Afghanistan after 9/11? After all, many claim we have neglected our own schools and health care facilities so would people have been willing to spend money so far away when funds have been so slow in reaching New Orleans?

In retrospect, a peace offensive with massive aid, armies of peace corps workers and nation builders would have been less costly and more successful.

Without calling for people admitting mistakes is there anything positive to be learned from what has happened in the last six years?

It's ironic but Manning vs. Manning nose tackled that "docudrama"; ABC's "9/11 The Full Story" by a wide margin in the ratings. What happened to this movie?

Your thoughts & comments.

Why do the majority of people who go to the Ivy League become democrats, I thought these schools would make them more intelligent. I just think that it is strange that the so called elite intelligensia are left leaning.

Why it acts in connivance of autocrates in the Middle East, Africa and Pakistan when it projects itself as a champion of democracy? Why it persecutes thousands of prisoners in secret prisons under inhuman conditions without even trial while shouting from the rooftop for human rights? Why it is hell bent upon Al-qaida which is its own creation? Why doesn't it pay the dues of the UN? Why it thinks acting out of Security Council is its right? Why has it banned Al-Zazeera, the Quwaiti news company while preaching freedom of speech? Why CIA is most active in Britain, its biggest "ally"? Why the stupidity of its president goes un-noticed by its own people? Why it chickens out from confronting N Korea, who actually claims to have the bomb, and is after Iran, without any reason? Why does it justify ruining Iraq, when the so called weapons-of-mass-destruction still elusive? Why it treaches its own foot soldiers by exposing them to radiation of Uranium-cored bullets?

Conservatives want what is right, but not necessarily what is fair

Example: As a business owner, I should have the right to hire whom I want, and charge whatever I want for my products/services. However, hiring along personal prejudices and gouging the public isn't fair.

Liberals want what is fair, but not necessarily what is right.

Example: As a minority, I am sometimes discriminated against while applying for a job, school, etc. Employers and schools should have to accept at least a few applicants from each demographic to ensure fairness. However, you are limiting an employer's/school's right to accept the most qualified people, and limiting their right to choose who's hands their company/school is in.
