if we do not leave Iraq, what should we do, cut and run, or stay and help Iraqs democratically elected government stabilize their country?

It seems that al-Zawahri is saying the same thing the democrats in congress are saying, should we heed their warning and leave Iraq in defeat?

Why would al-Zawahri echo the sentiments of the democrats in the US congress?

Do you believe that al-Qaida is hoping for a democrat controlled US congress?

The Elite is a group of individuals who is not widely publicized by the media, for the simple fact that they control the media and it behooves them to abstain from public acknowledgment in order to operate and control as surreptitiously as possible. Politcians, are pawns of the Elite and their role is to provide misinformation to the public at the behest of the Elite.

Let me give you an example.

Who is the richest man in the world?
Most people would say Bill Gates.

This is completely wrong, and it's a prime example of how the media, controlled by the Elite, provides misinformation to the public.

The richest man in the world is Jacob Rothschild. It has been said that he has half of the money in this world: trillions upon trillions of dollars. He, of course, belongs to the House of Rothschild whose origins began as bankers. From those beginnings, his family was able to control the world. It is this reason that they invested their knowledge and power in Great Britain and the United States of America. In doing so, the House of Rothschild enticed the politicians of each country (most of them members of the Elite anyway) to adopt the Federal Reserve. And, the rest is history my friends. Ever since the adoption of the Federal reserve, America's control has been in the hands of the Elite- in a long, downward spiral.

Whenever you read history about Rothschild, or the Federal Reserve, do not read from mainstream government-supported websites. Hell, I could hardly find a direct statement on the Federal Reserve website itself that specifically states that the Federal Reserve is a private corporation. We all know it is, but if the novice (blinded) citizen was to research the Fed, how could they conclude that the Fed was private if not even the Fed's website specifically stated such information? As I stated, purposeful misinformation.

"Let’s use Moore’s methodology, and ignore members of extended families (such as nephews) and also ignore service anywhere except Iraq (even though U.S. forces are currently fighting terrorists in many countries). And like Moore, let us also ignore the fact that some families (like Rep. Castle’s) have no children, or no children of military age.

We then see that of 535 Congressional families, there are two with a child who served in Iraq. How does this compare with American families in general? In the summer of 2003, U.S. troop levels in Iraq were raised to 145,000. If we factor in troop rotation, we could estimate that about 300,000 people have served in Iraq at some point. According to the Census Bureau, there were 104,705,000 households in the United States in 2000. (See Table 1 of the Census Report.) So the ratio of ordinary U.S. households to Iraqi service personnel is 104,705,000 to 300,000. This reduces to a ratio of 349:1."

I haven't heard anything new on the case but based on the story, the Lawyer will rot in prison. If the dead man is found to have molested the child then that's a different thing, but as of now there is no evidence proving that he did. The only thing is the childs testimony, but no physical evidence. Another thing to note is that the presumed molestor didn't have a criminal record linking him to any sexual or child abuse. The child's dad acted irrationally and he will pay for it now. What do you think?

It seems to me a terror group based in Afganistan launched terror attacks against America.

Shouldn't of we got them all before destroying another nation that didn't attack us?

In my opinion, the last decent President we had was FDR. He did great things for this country, and truly cared about the people and understood human suffering. His policies were revolutionary, and truly helped the people of this nation not only ending the Great Depression, but bringing us into WW2 and fighting a legitimate war that truly threatened the American way of life. Since him, I believe the only other good President was Dwight D. Eisenhower, since he warned this country against the military industrial complex (too bad Kennedy and LBJ supposed "liberals" ignored him). Since then we have had a line of war mongering, ineffective Presidents who have continually perpetuated a campaign of fear against the people of this nation. We need a new FDR.

Seriously, have you ever had a discussion with an informed conservative (and I know, the jokes will be, "there are no informed conservatives", because you think that is witty, and it avoids a response) where the outcome put your views on top?

I'm not talking about posting something, thinking you were right, and leaving.

I have yet to have a discussion with a liberal who could defend anything I have ever said to him. Sure, they may be able to respond to 1 or 2 things, but when you put all the information together for them, they can not answer, and usually start their insults. This has happened on several occasions.

Unfortunately, there are not many liberals where I am right now,so I can not enjoy that very often.

if you watch bbc news/ itn and newspaper based there are some very biased news reporting ocuring in terms of language/ time coverage/ scrutiny (and lack of)....

They all promote British efforts overseas (when it is clear we are overstretched & losing the bloody war on terror)

They reinforces prejudice to people when labells are used

Immigration & the debate surrounding it which focuses on the same issues over & over (like people jumping over walls and not the economic exploitation of such people & the contribution they make in jobs that no one wants i.e. cleaners & hospitals)

IS THE NEWS A WAY TO KEEP PEOPLE INFORMED IN PROPAGANDA WAYS.... IS BBC NEWS THERE TO KEEP MINORITIES IN THEIR PLACE BY INFORMING THE MAJORITY???

How often do you see liberals on here saying something like, "I saw a documentary, and now I hate our government and Bush"?

Why do most of you libs think everything you see or here from some anti-bush group is the truth without researching it yourself?

And no, logging on to moveon.org is not researching.

There is a bi election in my riding - mid way through someone's term they quit so a vacancy exists and it has to be filled

The Liberal government wants my vote yet again .

The Province banned smoking in bars and indoor public places. The business fought them the people fought them They went ahead anyway claiming they were elected on the platform. They were elected but that plank of the platform was buried in the back of thier red book - no one wanted ths except a small group of lobists .

Now I want to vote in the bi election not for the liberals but for anyone who will fight for this anti democratic move of the governments - Not one of the 4 parties looking for a seat will do it.

The public has just shrugged and said oh well it's a law now.

So Iam thinking of voteing for the Green party which won't win as my protest or the NDP that might win or maybe even the conservatives that don't stand a chance in hell - The race is between the NDP and the Liberals

I work at a VA Hospital and help veterans. Why is it that probably over 80% of the physicians/doctors that work in the VA's across the country are of mid-eastern descent? Many veterans won't come here for treatment because they were over seas fighting these people and now they are back home and have them caring for them as thier doctor. Why are there so many doctors that work in the VA's that are of mid-eastern culture?
