QUEBEC (CP) - NDP Leader Jack Layton urged his troops to prepare Sunday for an election campaign he seems determined to fight against U.S. President George W. Bush.

He mentioned the U.S. president at least five times in a closing address to his party's convention and accused the Tory government of being his servant.

On climate change, on the softwood-lumber deal and on the Afghan conflict, Layton accused the Tories of selling out Canadian interests to satisfy Bush and Prime Minister Stephen Harper of being a lackey of the Republican White House.

"He's become a cheerleader for President George Bush and he's leading Canada down the wrong track on every issue that matters to ordinary people," Layton said.

It looks like the Tories are going to be out of a job soon .....

How will no Blair and no Harper be for Bush - who cares really Who else wants Harper out and what do you think the election outcome will be?

It's perfectly obvious what "ticket" the organization has decided to run on, and I don't plan on watching ABC until November, when this bad nightmare hopefully ends. If they want to be known as the the right-wing channel, fine. We don't have to watch it. :-)

WHY IS IT THE DEMOCRATS DON'T WANT THE MOVIE MINISERIES PATH TO 9/11 TO AIR ON ABC.

COULD IT BE THAT THEY ARE SUPPORTERS OF CLINTON OR MABYE THEY ARE HILLARY'S HENCHMEN WHO WILL DO ANYTHING TO KEEP THE TRUTH FROM BEING KNOWN.

BOTH BUSH AND CLINTON FAILED IN THEIR DUTY TO PROTECT AMERICA. STOP BEING ONE SIDED BILL CLINTON IS JUST AS MUCH WRONG AS BUSH WAS.

STOP TRYOING TO IGNORE THE TRUTH.

(sorry fo yelling it just frustrates me to see clinton supporters trying to stop a movie mini series just because they say it is full of lies. it is not. clinton did fail as president as did bush .... so just grow up already and let it go!)

Before you start criticizing other countries for their terrorism or human rights records, shouldn't the US government clean their own house first?
For example, over the past 50 years, the United States government:

1-Supported and actively organized coups d'etat against numerous third world countries, just to defend US bussiness interests and selfish geopolitical aims.
This includes many democratically-elected governments.
Some examples are Guatemala 1954, Chile 1973, Argentina 1976, Iran (Persia) 1953, Haiti 1957, Brazil 1964, Zaire (congo) 1965, S.Korea 1979, Grenada 1983, Venezuela 2002 (failed attempt), and many more.
In my country, Argentina, 'black lists' with dissidents to be killed were actually written and given to our local death squads by the CIA, during the 1976-83 dictatorship.

"The Hysteria Must Stop."

The cheek of this administration, you would think they had nothing to do with the present hysteria surrounding 9/11 and terrorism.

One of the things this poll taken by FOX NEWS and 40 other pollsters, was an array of different questions that people disapproved of. Here are the things that America agrees make him the worst president ever.

1. Unstable economy, which hovers from average to poor
2. Jobless rate which hovers around 5 %
3. Not being interested in Bin Laden, cutting the search for Bin Laden task force.
4. Opening up our borders with Mexico. Signing into works plans to have Mexico be in charge of all import/export in America. All truck driving to deliver these goods being handed over to Mexico. Giving the North American Union authority over America. http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=14965
5. The concern he's turning America into George Orwells 1984.
6. War based on lie's

Lets see what America thinks http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

would be a good thing? He would become a martyr if we did so. Since the Taliban has gotten so powerful, no matter what we do(capture or kill him), violent terrorists acts by them will spike after his capture or death; maybe something worse than 9-11(God forbid). Or do you think that not one person would be able to take over for Osama if we kill/capture him? This is a very terrible dilemma that the world has. I know we have to get rid of him, because if he gets some nukes, well that would suck if that happened.
