It is flogging a dead horse to point out yet another criminal or moral shortcoming by the Clintons, I realize, but the "The Path to 9/11," a six-hour miniseries scheduled to air September 10 and 11 on ABC, is must viewing since it clearly documents how FBI terrorism chief John O'Neill tried in vain to convince the Clinton administration that it needed to deal with Osama bin Laden. Needless to say, "Slick" had more important matters on his mind and between his legs. Liberals are already whining, as they inevitably do when the TRUTH emerges. Their only "truth" is that which they can twist to their own sordid ends. "Slick" had the opportunity to have bin Laden extradited, said so himself, and then later denied it. Duh! And his party is going to protect America from terrorism? Give me a BREAK! I still doubt they got all of the classified documents that Clinton's security advisor Sandy Berger stuffed in his nasty drawers. Conservatives make mistakes, but liberals are downright DANGEROUS!

Wouldn't it be the rich, the power, the corperations, the powers that be in our status quo situation? If so why are they trying to hard to sow the seeds of the loss of there holdings, influence and quality of life? They may be able to survive if it really gets bad but they'll lose all there power, wealth is only wealth if you have somewhere to spend it, and corperations won't be able to sell anything to the dead or dead broke. Why wouldn't they actually solve the problems perhaps by creating an independent enviromental restoration agency that really was empowered enough to restore the enviroment?? If the sea rises and every coastal city in the world is like katrina at once then everyone living there will swamp every other city and it will all collapse like a house of cards and we'll take the rest of the enviroment with us as we fall. Sounds very bad for business if you ask me. Why destroy the most beautiful place in the universe especially if you'll go down with it?

It is my feeling the the governments not listening to the people anymore, we will get the same old spending on special intrest projects and not where it is needed .That inflation will continue to rise ahead of wages and that healthcare will remain on the burner with no progress towards a solution .
The mentaly ill will wonder the streets homeless victums to street savey criminals that deprive them of there government money .The little they may get is taken from them on the third of the month soon after they cash the check at habbebes check cashing service where a huge fee is taken from the mentaly ill .Some times 100 dollars to cash a 750 State treasury check .
We will still have wide spread fraud by businesses go unpunished , polution will continue among corporate poluters till it is out of control and tax payer money from the super fund used to clean up the mess with only small fines to companies that pay 35% returns on investments .If you make the poor clean it up with tax dollars.

Will the conservatives take credit? I'm just wondering, because they gave Reagan credit for Clinton's surplus, and they blamed Clinton for 9/11.

I am fed up with you average citizens and lazy politicians sitting on your fat @#$%'s at home complaining how we soldiers in iraq and other places fight in war. The tactics we use, the way we get information, you people have a narrow mind of how this war works (THIS WAR not a war you see on the TV) and you have no idea how the iraqi mind works. GOD FORBID we look at a damn prisoner the wrong way, we have these crazy humanitarians on our @#$%'s. What is wrong with you people. You forget why they are in prison? There are certain ways you (only ways) you are able to obtain information from these people (im not saying we torture anyone and you people that seem to believe that we do...continue to sit on your fat butts and believe everything you see on the TV). The people that we deal with on a daily basis (the iraqis) are not like us, they don’t give a rats @#$% about us. I think you people need to shut your mouths and let us real men and women deal with it. Stop worrying about the enemy.

The Path to 9/11" is actually a bald-faced attempt to slander Democrats and revise history right before Americans vote in a major election. "The Path to 9/11" mocks the truth and dishonors the memory of 9/11 victims to serve a cheap, callous political agenda. It irresponsibly misrepresents the facts and completely distorts the truth.

Is the cheap price of gasoline in the nation's past, combined with federal policies in the 1950s heavily promoting hghway construction, in part to blame for the death of the urban areas and the development of cheaper land (i.e., farms and undeveloped land) but distant (at that time) from the economic centers of our country?

There is great commentary by people who say gas prices are "too high." But what determines what "too high" is? Too high for me to feel good about buying gas? Because we need gasoline to get to work or vacation or the kids to activities?

If enough people are willing to pay $5 per gallon for gas, why shouldn't the oil companies charge that for their product? Who decides what is "too much" profit for an oil company?

Love them or hate them...they are destroying this country. Public schools continue to slide while billions each month are shipped off to Iraq. Gas prices have soared under the Oil Party's watch..go figure. How can we take this country back. Even those who ignorantly support the GOP are damaged by their policies.
