The tragedy of the twin tower in New york shows USA is vulnerable to terrorism attacks. If Bush does nothing to defend his country, then USA citizen would call him a wimp. Now that he send troops to fight in middle east for defending his country, people are making judgements on him and his policy...what do you recommend the US president should do in dealing with this issue?

Reporters asked Bush recently (look it up yourself) if he was considering a nuclear strike on Iran .

"All options are on the table" and he left in what appeared a bit of a huff. I take that to mean it is more than possible in the mind of the President. He could have said no he could have said "only if" he didn't choose those answers .

Further the President can strike any nation as a premtive move on the war on terror without Congress and the "mini nuke" a bunker buster is being now considered as a "conventional weapon" (Reseach by Jorge Hirsh nuclear phisics Ca)

The concept of nuking Iran is very much in the "talk" and with no Presidential denial ...............how else should I have taken Bush's statement?

Especially in their disgusting treatment of women. And liberals call the right-wing Christians the "American Taliban."

So why is the new Neocon tactic to say liberals are soft on Islamic extremists? Do they think it will work in November?

Why is it that Bush is stepping on every single country who owns nuclear power? Don't other countries have the right to have these things so that they can defend their countries?

Is Bush planning to take over the world or something because he is oppressing other countries from having weapons and nuclear? But he allows Israel to have one but not Iran or Korea or God knows what other countries?

Why must he butt into other people's business and not look into his own country's issues?

I just don't understand. Just leave the other countries be. And why must war be a solution? I dunno. Can anyone shed a light on these questions?

These are very confusing.

WHEN ANYBODY THAT KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT HISTORY KNOWS THAT NAZIS WERE FASCISTS WHICH IS ABOUT IS FAR RIGHT WING AS YOU CAN GET.

I KNOW THE UNEDUCATED NEOCON RESPONSE WILL BE THE THEY WERE "NATIONAL SOCIALISTS". BUT THEN THEY FAIL TO ADDRESS WHY HITLER HATED LIBERALS, SOCIAL DEMOCRATS AND EXECUTED HOMOSEXUALS AND OUTLAWED LABOR UNIONS. THE NAZIS WERE RIGHT WING AND THE RIGHT WING NEOCONS ARE JUST GOING TO HAVE TO ACCEPT IT.

They would just be too much of a fight otherwise?

TEHRAN (Agencies) - Iran exhibited its first locally manufactured fighter plane Wednesday during large-scale military exercises, AP said, quoting the Islamic Republic Broadcasting. The report said the bomber Saegheh is similar to the American F-18 fighter plane, but "more powerful." It also said the plane was "designed, optimized and improved by Iranian experts."

It said the Iranian air force had commissioned the Saegheh plane after many test flights in the past year.

Television footage showed the airplane taking off and launching two rockets. The plane had a small cockpit and only one pilot.

"Saegheh is capable of launching both rockets and bombs," the report said. General Karim Ghavami, commander of Iran's air force, told the television that the war games were being held "to show the trans-regional forces that we are ready to defend our country up to the latest drop of our blood."

I don't get why American conservatives hate the Un. The Un is a peaceful body, where the world comes together and solves their issues.

The UN has no full-time standing army. UN presently has troops under it's control, from other nations.

Don't you think it's time for a full-time standing United Nations army to deal with international threats?

Two successes? No border security of Lebanon from Syria where Hezbolah gets its missiles \ rockets from. No freedom for the Israeli soldiers kidnapped.

And getting troops from Turkey is a "big success" worthy of a headline? I applaud them getting the Israelis to back off the embargo but thats probably just saving them money.

This seems pathetic to me; why does the media love this guy? The UN seems worthless to me?

i heard on the radio today about how some states are making it mandatory for schools to make a special room for muslims to go and pray five time a day. but the same schools will not let you in if you have anything to do with christ showing, clothes, bibles, stuff like that.
i also heard places like frisco and santacruz are making the kids know the five fundamentals of islam before they are allowed to graduate. this is making me sick. why have we allowed them to choke us out.
im not bashing any political party, but i think we need to watch those who are running in the next election to see if they are going to be fair, or if they already have an agenda
