Bush tried to come up with a solution, and anti illegals rejected it. Now, they will have to contend with a more equal house and senate after November, and possibly a democratic president. At best, we are looking at 2 years before anything else happens, effectively giving illegals 2 years of amnesty (what the antis were trying to avoid to begin with) Have they shot themselves in the foot? Have they caused an irrepairable division in the republican party?

Disenchanted Moderates overwhelmingly believe the Democratic Party is no longer viable, it's been hijacked by Gays, Lesbians and ACLU Radicals of every stripe and represents them exclusively!

The majority of Moderates queried stated: "It's either Vote GOP or for a Third Party/Independent BUT the Democrats are no longer a viable positive politcal entity".

In Paquistan the law says that a woman to present an accusation on rape must have 4 witness to prove it. If not she may be persecuted on charge of adultery and eventally sentenced to death.

I just answered a question about the Senator from MI supporting abortion and opposing the death penalty and was shocked by the comparisons made by the people that answered that question. They stated the same way a "Neo-con" can support the death penalty and opposs abortion. I had no idea that an unborn child was anything like a mass murderer or seriel rapist that was tried and found guilty and is now being put to death. Wow thanks libs for opening my eyes. Anyway any thoughts.

At first I did not know this about the ban, and I am actively Pro-Life. The ban does not include emergency contraception prior to the ability to detect pregnancy. This means if a woman was raped she could and I would encourage anyone in this situation to do so, to go to a hospital and get a rape hormone that potentially could block ovulation before conception occurs.

With this fact known many who are against the ban for lack of the rape exception should reconsider their position as this is a reasonable solution the creators of the ban wisely left out of it.

I claim there are currently only two such groups:

- poor people, and
- the mentally ill.

These are the only groups of people that are discriminated against at a high level on a regular basis.

Other groups of people often mentioned as deserving preferential treatment, such as Blacks, mostly fall into the "poor people" category, and the ones that don't do not suffer discrimination either often enough or at a high enough level to warrant preferential treatment.
