My dad told one of his customers that my little sis was getting married before her husband left for Iraq. The lady said "oh, so she's going to be a widow?" When My dad told us that story, I was shocked and disgusted that ANYONE would say such an awful thing. That is okay if you don't support the war, does anyone agree with her making that statement, and if you do, please tell me your political party so I know who to associate what with.

The NATO forces reportedly killed over 200 Taliban terrorists last weekend, how did they know all they killed they were terrorists? If you have lived in a country for years and some army comes in don't the people have the right to get rid of the invaders? How threatened should we really be of the Taliban?

I am all for peace and unity.
But when I say I am against the war people tend to mouth off that i dont support the troops.
i appericate the troops for fighting this meaningless war. after all the y have no choice.

Seriously, I need to stay away from the political forum because all it is is back and forth name calling, and I am guilty of it as well. But what really irks me is that when someone answers a question of the opposite party in all respectful manner, the person asking the question won't even take it into consideration. I at least like to think that I keep an open mind to the idea of others and try to see their point, but the EXTREME left really really irritates me on here. Don't they have anything better to do than CONSTANTLY bash the President, and that's really all I read. It's time to get over it, move on, and focus on winning the election in 2008. It's wierd that most of the bashing of so called "neocons" is because they support the president. It's such a crazy concept. I don't understand why can't there be a common ground that we are all working towards!! I'm just sooooo sick of the nonsense, does anyone else feel this way or am i going to get stupid biased comments again?!

now that you little republicans have a new word in your vocabulary(FASCISM) have you taken the time to look into its core meaning and what actions and beliefs represent its philosophy?? probably not because you would have to look in the mirrow at yourselves and realize that you and your party are the real fascists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to way public opinion like the "republican fascists" have.. ie: the Islamic Fascists... thats the new campaign slogan .. hehehe fear mongering and more fear mongering.. but it sure does keep the sheep in line. I would love to see the phrase Republican Fascist used on CNN or 60 minutes.

Do they actually wield any power? If so would you say they were a powerful body of representitives? Do your believe the U.N. is capable of uniting a very devided world and bringing peace? If in fact they do have or obtain any real power over governments do we ever have to fear that they will impose thier views upon us? Is the U.N. leading to or for the purpose of a one world government? If so controlled by who? If not then why? Should we be paying for most of the cost burden? Why?
