It seems that anyone who questions Bush or any US policy is labled as anti US - What a wonderful way to inspire fear limit debate and allow band wagon policy's to go unchecked.

For years I have had the legal and cultural privilage of being as critical of Canada's government and policy and never had to face the base attempts to intimidate me as I see those in the US suffer at the hands of so called freedom loving American conservatives.

My question is that kind of simplistic name calling and blatant scare tactics your version of freedom? I certainly feel I have more rights as a Canadian than you have as an American if that is the answer.

So what is with the hypocrasy and the blind belief that if you don't swallow Bush's views your a traitor - are you sure your not a facist nation?

Now before you regurgatate some memorised put down stop and at least try to answer the question in some fashion

USA believes that it is one of the best democracies. But they are not. Think about their action in United Nations. As long as there are veto members in UN, there is no democarcy in UN. All the nations of the world are sidelined. Survival of the fittest emerges. USA should give up or demand that all the five members give up their veto status and show to the world the meaning of democracy? Any takers?

Everything is always twisted.

Like the phrase cut and run. That is just crazy. I don't know of any democrats who think that but that is all you hear from the liars.

This is the exact reason I am so freaking glad I left the republican party and went to the party of honesty, the democrats.

Yes there are many Scots in parliment but that is because it is the UK Parliment and Scotland is still part of the UK.

Its this narrow-mindedness that makes me want Scotland to seperate.

The amount of whinging English going on about all the Scots in the parliment. Are they that stupid they don't realise it is irrelevent where in the UK they are from?

How long was Scotland run by the English? There is a reason theTory's don't have a seat in Scotland!

And before people type "but who would collect the garbage/look after the sewage system/you are an idiot for asking this question/duh " etc - please just think about what we NEED them for.

They only cause trouble. I think the whole gig is outmoded - how can we replace them, and with what?

The "axis of evil", "weapons of mass destructions" and "war on terror", some say this is propaganda, but the three statements above were all made with the real worry of nuclear weapons in mind and the United States being attacked by these weapons of mass destruction no matter how small or large.

We now have open proof of North Korea having nuclear weapons in the form of guided missiles, are these false statements when the proof is in every western new paper, now I ask you, the reference above Bush made, would you say false or true, was Bush right about all 3 of the tags he used during a speech to the nation.

Is it time for the democrats to rethink and re-posture the strategy they are using, some professions do very well making up lies and standing by them, as an example take a lawyer trying to sue someone for a few million dollars, its all about the Benjamin’s, not the truth, the problem with politician lying to the public at large is people are the judge and when they go to the voting booth the verdict will be read, we all remember the wagging finger of Bill Clinton, it didn’t go over very well with the public over all or course Al Gore paid the price, I mean sure there are some people willing to stand and go down with a lying politician.

Overall I think most people would prefer defend facts, solid facts, such as when the World Trade Center was destroyed with over 50,000 people occupying them, thank god that more did not die that day, this is why I stand firm a supporter of the republican party, they have the solid truth on their side, my question is how can the democrats expect votes

The National Labor Relations Board has said that Indian tribes must allow unionization under federal law on their sovereign territory.

However, the tribes, including the San Manuel Indian Reservation which has taken the fight to court, are saying that they are sovereign governments and are capable of handling their own labor issues.

What do you think?
