The majority of voters on election day are older people, the youth who have more to lose refuse to become involved and only want to complain. Minimum wage, marrige laws, abortion, taxes, all impact the lives of younger people and yet they are absent on election day.

The clearest message ever sent to the black person in America, is the response by all levels of Government before, during and after this sad affair.

We are nothing more than the residue of slaves. We are unwanted. If I had doubts previously, all that has gone.

And the administration makes charges that news is biased....

Its either america is doing too much for the world and interfering in everyone's business or america isn't doing enough for the world and are acting selfishly.

I really believe the europeans use the iraqi war excuse for their deep-rooted anti-americanism. It is strange how the french didn't care about the iraqi people when they were having oil deals with saddam, but all of a sudden USA comes in to save them and they are flipping out saying "THEY ARE TAKING THEIR OIL MAAAAAN".

This world is so stupid. Oh, and the reason why america doesn't like recognizing other people's culture is because we fought a war to get away from Europe.

I care about human beings suffering, but if you live in an area under sea level, and it floods - I really don't have any sympathy for that.

I think revenge is a form of justice to balance the scale. Somethimes the law doesn't take matters into their own hand. I honestly feel that revenge is an ethical "right".

If you think about how the human race has advanced in 1,000 - 2,000 years, why is it that our weapons have advanced, but we (our govt) can not find a way to settle differences between countries without blood shed? Do they really do everything they can to negotiate a peaceful settlement or try economic sanctions? I would like to hear other peoples views on the war.

I am a military wife (ret) with 4 sons in the military. The military has been a big part of my life for 30 years. This is more philosophical then political. The older I get, the more senseless the bloodshed, destruction and loss becomes. I can not see the gain. I have always been a Bush supporter, yes I voted for him twice, but I have to tell you, I am not impressed with his handling of the middle east and the situation in New Orleans. My two biggest gripes right now.

If we took away that which is a natural instinct in men to blow things up, would we alter men forever? Thanks for all of your opinions
