I'm all for a logical debate of the issues and I'm completely open to hearing an opposing point of view. However, it seems like whenever I read an interesting political question on Yahoo Answers, there's a huge number of hate-filled, stereotyping, and very ignorant answers about liberals like "Dems are retards!" and "Liberals are worse than the terrorists!". What's up that? Come on people just argue the issues - otherwise you sound like the "retard."

Would you believe that Glen Beck is saying that the reason we went to war in Iraq was not for weapons of mass destruction or to stop Saddam, but that Bush is not willing to say the truth. That it was to stop Iran, which is the head of the snake, and is the REAL support for terrorism.

Your thoughts on this issue? Is the real reason we are in Iraq to stop Iran??? Does this even make sense?

I'm saying this because more and more, day to day I see evidence of this from around the world and every other race in America. We build a school in Baghdad, while our educational system suffers.

We pay to feed the children and homeless of Iraq while children in our own country suffer.

We give Social Security to damn near anyone who wants it but our seniors can't afford the medicine needed to live.

The U.S. gives foreign companies tax exemption for 7 years to operate in the U.S. while encouraging domestic companies to hire and use workers from other countries (Wal-Mart).

Many Americans are struggling to survive in their own country due to Katrina and relief still hasn't gotten to them, yet Hezbollah is handing out crisp new 100 dollar U.S. bills to people in Lebanon (where the hell did they get them?).

Does it seem our tax dollars are being abused? Or am I mistaken? Please comment. Respectful criticism only please.

It is funny to listen to Chuck Schumer huff and puff about the oil companies and all the profits they are making. New York State has the highest gas taxes anywhere in the country. It is based on the dollar sales not gallons. As such right now in New York the gas tax is .62 cents a gallon. Add the .18 cents federal tax and you have .80 cents a gallon tax. That is more than triple the oil companies profits. Hey Chuckie if you want to help your home state why not proposing lowering the gas tax. Pathetic limosene liberals. Everytime I see Schumer on TV I feel like taking a shower afterwards.

Think you pay too much for gas? The Democrats LOVE France, and they pay $5.54/gal in USD.
