I'm in favor of guns, but not Assault Weapons or weapons other than for protection, target practice, or hunting. If you're going to pull out the right to bear arms argument, explain why you need them, not just because.

In the context of rookie *Curry* on the current Malaysia's Politics scene ...

My view is "YES" as his pure intention is not for all fellow citizens of Malaysia and worst of all, his naive aspiration / intention is creating racial disharmony!

People claim that America "is to blame for the worlds problems" or "just as corrupt as the rest of the world" and a variety of other adolescent accusations.

How has this propoganda so successfully permeated our culture?

I observe this as another form of "self righteousness".

I actually abserve that people feel a sense of fairness and neutrality from saying these things because our new society of "tolerance" has people calling good evil and evil good (all in the name of "tolerance").

People that actually have a position on something are deemed to be "intolerant" and therefore narrow and stupid.

This is a very easy position to subscribe to because it relieves one from having to take a position (which in turn would require attention) and is therefore the "easy way out" for the ignorant and lazy.

If I am correct, we must recognize and correct this weakness in order to preserve our culture and bring freedom and peace to those less fortunate than we.

What say you?

Would you remain held up in your home being told when and where you could go and just praying a bomb would not drop on your family or praying the Israeli bulldozers didn't choose your home as a good site of the next Israeli setttlement or would you fight a legitimate fight of resistance against the occupier??

You would have thought we would have learnt by now that beating people down to stuff them with our ideology doesn't work. I watched a documentary about the bombs over Japan and realised that we are very very afraid it could happen to us.

i got to say that i'm really a liar, cuz i must not say what i'm really thinking, i'm just taught to accept what i was told, i've learnt to praise the government to the sky. If i make demonstration against government, or offend the leaders, i'll pay the price, that's why there's no demonstration here, vietnam does not have real peace, it's just a fraud, a lie.

Americans aften give lame duck excuses to justify the worst ever terrorist attacks in entire human history, that is, nuclear attacks on Heroshima and Nagasaki. They claim that Japan has first attacked the Pearl Harbor Naval Base. Pearl Harbor Naval Base was a legitimate military target, it was not civilian facility. Attack on a military target can not justify an attack on civilian population.

The American 'New Republic' magazine says the UK is now a greater threat than either Iraq or Iran in becoming a breeding ground for violent extremism. The USA is coming round to thinking that the UK is a hornets nest of Islamic extremism. Hey guys, you started this sh it. We only went along cos we thought you were our good buddy. Seems no-one is your good buddy when it suits you, fair weather friend.

Why because France didn't agree with the invasion of iraq some idiots changed french fries to freedom fries? Is it because they don't have a brain cell and think that by changing the name it's gonna scare "terrorists"? What next, if Italy doesn't agree we change Italian style pizza to Freedom style pizza?
