I thought Bush and Co. were going to 'get' the people responsible for 9/11? Maybe he meant he'd " 'get' them new recruits"? Also, don't Bush and Co. care about the people who died on 9/11? If they do, why is the man who caused it still growing his beard?

From the article is says, "The journalists had been seized in Gaza City on Aug. 14 by a previously unknown group calling itself the Holy Jihad Brigades. However, senior Palestinian security officials said Sunday the name was a front for local militants, and that Palestinian authorities had known the identity of the kidnappers from the start."

How can people sit there and say Bush causes anti-americanism when Europe has had an anti-american problem for years and years before Bush. But now Bush, god forbid, takes on iraq and now all of a sudden they (european) care about the iraqi people. its funny how they could care less about them when saddam was in charge. Actually Euro leaders liked the guy.

People can't handle the truth. Bush was brave, unlike cowardly Clinton who gave China Nucleur technology, and bush's cowarldy father. Face it, Bush Jr. has been one of the best presidents recently.

And anyone with a smart mind knows that the war was not about oil. If we wanted oil why didn't we invade mexico? or canada? nevermnd the fact US has oil in its own borders.

Is the worldwide hatred of Bush just an excuse for people to reveal their anti-americanism? Is it because the europeans are jealous so they say outrageous things like "america is nazi germany" and "bush is hitler".

It really is disgusting that so many people hate america in the world. US invades Iraq to try to free the people there and the world is outraged. Yet when France invaded Algeria and massacred innocent civlians you hardly heard anything.
Another example:
When Israel attacks Hezbollah the UN and almost all nations are flipping out.
But when palestinians kidnap an israeli soldier you hardly hear anything.

I am not at all saying anti-bush = anti-americansim. But I sure as hell think non-americans use bush as an excuse for their anti-americanism.

People are so quick to blame the US for everything and call americans hypocritical. How about Russia? they fight the chechnians but when Israel fights Hezbollah, Russia is outraged.
