It is true that the very existence of Israel is totally dependent on the unconditional support and sponsorship of the US government as a super power. Additionally, many key Arab countries (such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt) are ruled by regimes which allied themselves with the US for the sole reason of securing their thrones and dictatorships. All it takes is for the US government to suspend its unconditional support to Israel for some reason (very unlikely), or one or more of the US-friendly regimes being overthrown by a more patriotic anti-israeli ones (very likely) and Israel will be in big trouble! Imagine if five or six Arab countries attack Israel at once, or if Saudi Arabia initiates an oil embargo on the US like it did in 1976, or a combination of both, how long can israel last for?

I oppose Gun “Control” for the same reason I oppose Drug “Control.”

The War on Drugs and the War on Guns have both led to increases in violent crime rates, because both create a black market. (Yes, I have statistics proving this.)

Gun “Control” did not stop Columbine, just as Prohibition does not stop drug use or alcohol use. Gun “Control” disarms innocent civilians, but does nothing to stop criminals (who don’t obey the law anyway) from acquiring guns on the black market. The laws against drugs artificially drive up their price, thus encouraging inner-city youth to drop out of school and join gangs, wherein they can make a huge profit. But gangs have turf-wars, and shoot-outs. You never see Budweiser having shoot-outs with Jack Daniels.

A truly free-market solution is to decriminalize all guns and drugs, thus taking them out of the black market. Violent crime rates will then drop.

So, I ask you, are you a hypocrite who opposes one yet supports the other? If so, why?

After watching Democrats fail to capitalize on ANY of the myriad weaknesses of the Republican party in 2004, I realized that they had not, as an entity, sufferered enough losses to learn their lesson and become competitive. It remains to be seen if the Democratic party is CAPABLE of adapting, or if they will be replaced by another Party that rises to fill the considerable vacuum created by a monstrously corrupt ruling Party (Republicans) and a monstrously inept opposition Party (Democrats), which has left Americans WANTING a Government that still gives a damn about Americans.

You can't have it both ways. You either believe in private property rights, or you are NOT a capitalist. There is no middle-ground between the two.

Laissez-faire capitalism advances the belief that any law against flag burning is not only a law against free speech, but is also a law against private property rights. If I own a flag (or Qu’ran, or Bible, or house, or marijuana, or whatever), it is MY private property, and I should be free to burn it, AS LONG as I don’t infringe upon anybody else's property rights in the process, according to capitalism.

So my question is this: are you a capitalist who opposes laws against flag-burning, or an America-hating commie? :)

(Personally, I'm a pretty hard-core capitalist: I oppose ALL forms of slavery, including taxation. But that's just me.)

Am I the only one in here that seems to notice that # 1 Liberal is not liberal. He or she seems to lack a lot of knowlegde about a lot of topics. I'm confused about there actual agenda in here. Ignorance of an issue doesn't make you a liberal It only makes you ignorant!

I have recently left the Republican party to become an independent and am curious about other parties out there, especially ones who would like to reduce the size of government. I like a lot of their view points, but am a little concerned about the Constitution Party's isolation stance.

If any other leader of any other nation or country did half of what george w bush has done he would be shot or tried as a war criminal. Why is george bush so arrogant that he feels it's his duty to govern a country that doesnt want him there. Does he think 9/11 was a thank you letter for what he did to iraq?

I was stationed over there and learned that the North has 1.5 million troops at the border ready to attack at the drop of a dime. I also learned they have enough artillery to keep a sustained rate of fire for 3 days straight. I know they don't have much of an airforce, and Kim Jung Il is crazy. Launching those missiles on July 4th this past year really got me concerned. The South Koreans act as if they are not that big of a threat, and the U.S tries to avoid any battles with them. I saw on CNN the other day that the North's troops were making faces at the South's of all things. Does the North know something we don't? Why are they so confident?
