Lets end the minimum wage all together and allow employee's to determin what they earn .
SEEMS the wage is pre-set for many jobs and not for the better . END minimum wage and let new workers bargin for a starting wage and then negotiate for pay .IF we did this then employer's would not have a steady stream of workers with fixed wages .
SEE i do not like that the wage at MOST McDonalds in an area are the same .
IF my store does 6000 customers a day then a store that does only 4000 makes less money and they should be paid less or me more .
this is free enterprize and with bargining my wage would be better and certian stores would close . this is what is meant to happen in a free economy .
I should not be off setting the wage of other workers .
BY doing this i am cheated of my proper reward for my hard work and would naturally seek out and find the best paying job in the area .
WITH an established wage i lose this ability .

IS it to have more people employed.
Is it so more people will work .
Is it so more people have more money .
Is it to offset increased fuel costs to get to work .
I wonder what minimum wage increase do for america and what are we trying to fix by increasing them .
The real problem is that in 1965 minimum wage was $1.25 and today it varies from state to state and calculating for inflation the wage should be $6.75 .
SO for 40 years the wage has continued to rise and so have the prices of everything .
IT does not matter what the minimum wage is it will never help americans .
IF we do not make goods to sell to others then we must work together to build and have what we want .
THE wage a man is paid has nothing to do with what the real value of his work is.
To my knowledge there is no fairness law in america and if i have 10 employees who make me 1,000,000 a year as long as i pay themaround 20,000 a year and know one knows how much i earn off them then things are fine .should i pay more ???

The Far Left Liberal Democrats i.e., really get flustered and very indignant whenever challenged to respond with concrete solutions NO generalities but specifics and it's sooo predictable they almost always resort to crude "name-calling", "personal, racial and/or ethnic character attacks" and some do it with that elitist Liberal Leftist attitude...instead,

Can any Liberal state without Bush Bashing, Blaming America and without Politicising what Liberals would do differently NOW (besides Cut & Run) understanding that over 90% agreed with the Iraq War FOR whatever reason.

I keep hearing "inflation, inflation", it's meant to fight that not increase it..

I don't get what the big deal is, people act like we've never done it before.. Like everyone is going to lose their jobs and it'll cost $10.00 for a cheeseburger.. We've done it before people, and nothing close to that has happened. Twice with Clinton, and twice with the first Bush in only 4 yrs.. Where are they getting this stuff??

Amnesty International today published findings that point to an Israeli policy of deliberate destruction of Lebanese civilian infrastructure, which included war crimes, during the recent conflict.

The organization's latest publication shows how Israel's destruction of thousands of homes, and strikes on numerous bridges and roads as well as water and fuel storage plants, was an integral part of Israel's military strategy in Lebanon, rather than “collateral damage” resulting from the lawful targeting of military objectives.
The report reinforces the case for an urgent, comprehensive and independent UN inquiry into grave violations of international humanitarian law committed by both Hizbullah and Israel during their month-long conflict.
"Israel’s assertion that the attacks on the infrastructure were lawful is manifestly wrong. Many of the violations identified in our report are war crimes, including indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks. The evidence strongly suggests that

Consider the following facts: The Security and Prosperity Partnership Agreement (SPP) is an Agreement which launches a process to merge the United States with Mexico and Canada into (initially) one economic free-trade area. This so-called North American Union (NAU) would ultimately have a common border and would result from the merger of Mexico, Canada and the United States.

The NAU would create and facilitate an unobstructed movement of commerce, capital and people among the aforementioned former sovereign nations. The NAU would likely have a common currency, like the Euro.

I used to be a skeptic, but after experiencing first hand inside the military and watching many documentaries and interviews, it's starting to make alot more sense. I remember being in Korea and seeing the backwords swastika on flags and doors of certain homes, and my fellow soldiers would say that was an asian religion symbol. What a crock! I've researched every asian religion and that symbol is only associated with the N.W.O and the illiminati. Anyone care to discuss?

I mean, inflation happens anyways. Minimum wage does not create thes, it may speed it up but it's there. Why do so many people use inflation as an excuse to not raise it? Should we just screw the lower class? Should I not care unless it affects me??

Regan: The war on Drugs
Bush: The war on Terror

These are two things that will never go away. As long as there are humans, there will be drugs and terrorism. What's the point of declaring war on behaviors and ideas that will persist no matter what? Nobody will ever rid the world of drugs, and the more terrorists you kill the more spring up in their place. And on the note of terrorism, why is the focus on Islamic terrorism? There is plenty of domestic terrorism as well. Are countless neverending wars in the middle east going to solve that problem as well?

How about a war on sex next?
