Will our government ever just stop trying to be the powerhouse. Will they ever say lets just all get along or is this subject just foreign to them all they see is money, money, more money oh and lets not forget power.....Just keeps me thinking. Does our Government have our BEST intrests at heart?

Every single day, I see people like Michael Moore and others with very lame excuses for why the USA is so terrible, yet nobody recognizes that this is still the best place on the earth to live as far as liberty, self expression, and the ability for a man to determine his own fate.

Has everyone been infected with some sort of mental desease that we all cannot see that we are selling ourselves and our country out because of some unprovable "evidence" in a 2-bit movie?

That i am wrong? Just because he met with racist republicans. I now understand how incompable some people can be. He can't be wrong. So now i am wondering, why can't he accept my opinion and realize i am not lying. Wait, better yet, where is his proof i am lying. Mine was Jessi Jackson, where is his?

I think that is a bunch of bs. First off, the republicans don't have a racist arrogant man (Reggie Jackson) ruining their image. If the democrats did away with Jackson, i would hug everyone i saw.

He simply suggested there should be an independent investigation to delve into unanswered questions. That is all. We were willing to spend tax payer dollars on Bill Clinton's BJ, why not find out further why there were intelligence failures.

Even the 9/11 Commission said their results were inconclusive. Barring conspiracy theories, shouldn't we at least look into intelligence failures to keep us safe? Why is this guys being attacked?

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran could not abandon its nuclear program while the United States was developing new atomic bombs every year. Iran wants nuclear technology only to cope with booming electricity demand. The EU and the United States suspect it of secretly trying to build nuclear weapons.

"Those states responsible for the atomic bombing of (Japan's) Nagasaki and Hiroshima are now trying to deprive the Iranian nation of its right," the official IRNA news agency quoted Ahmadinejad as saying. "Those states should be disarmed."

I see the leeches of deception now typing their response to this question… and I quote: "But America is a peace loving country, and America is developing nukes for peaceful purposes to protect ourselves and help others. Iran is Evil, Iran wants to destroy poor Israel, Israel is a Muslim state, we can’t trust Muslims, Muslims want to blow us all up, because Bush has told us so."

Our response: If America sincerely seeks peace? Or wants to see a halt to the spread of nukes, in so called rogue countries? Then it, with their fellow human brothers around the world, should come to an understanding where not one country can dictate and undermine another’s values for the sake of having an upper hand, or by flaunting nuke power to gain political ground and leverage. Boasting and fear mongering, is not the way forward and not the answer to any situation. I’m sure nukes can be used for world peace, how?, is to be debated by the world leaders and its communities.

Before you use this forum to bash the US again, id like to tell you about myself; I'm an american. I'm a college student. I hate George Bush. I am very liberal. i can point out ANYTHING on a map. and im not obese. oh, and i've traveled through most of europe. I was just wondering why you bash the US using your own stereotypes? isnt that just as ignorant? remember most of the kids on this site are just that, kids who dont know anything. im sorry you have extensive contact with the US via yahoo answers. oh, im sure a lot of you will tell me youve been here and you dont simply get all of your knowledge from the BBC, but seriously, we're just as fed up with our government as you are (the christian conservatives might be another story, but hey, isnt Blair born-again). oh and churchill was a fat-***.

to make weekly, biweekly or monthy televised appearances to share what is going on in the country and address problems?
I understand that we have press conferences, and other speeches, but those are few and far between. I feel that if we had more face time with our leaders people would be more inclined to participate in their government.

I have seen this in other countries and would love to have it in the US!

So I'm trying to find those people's car's who bumper stickers I've ripped or scraped off with my knife and put a "Support Lieberman" bumper sticker there instead since I don't know who the next Republican President Candidate will be...

Is this a good idea and a good way to make repairs to the damage I've done? I keep hearing Republicans saying how great Lieberman is and it's the best I could come up with...
