http://www.serendipity.li/cia.html#mcgehee
(here's a brief excerpt, since you're probably not going to read the links):
"Ralph McGehee was a CIA agent for 25 years, active mainly in South-East Asia, and received a career achievement medal upon retirement. Initially a gung-ho anti-communist crusader, McGehee's experiences in Vietnam, where he witnessed American bombing and napalming of villages, and of the men, women and children who lived in them, led him to examine closely what the CIA was really all about."
"The CIA has officially acknowledged that McGehee's CIABASE activities were legal and constituted no threat to "national security" (click on the image at right). Yet he has recently been harassed both by the CIA and by the FBI, involving bodily injury, and his CIABASE website was shut down"

Well, it's August 22nd, the day nuclear war is supposed to start. Anybody see any mushroom clouds over Tehran, Tel Aviv or D.C. yet?

Let me know when this all kicks off, so I can grab a beer and watch the fireworks.

=)

Dick Cheney ... went so far as to suggest that the ouster of Mr. Lieberman might encourage "al Qaeda types." "It's an unfortunate development, I think, from the standpoint of the Democratic Party, to see a man like Lieberman pushed aside because of his willingness to support an aggressive posture in terms of our national security strategy,'' Mr. Cheney said in a telephone interview with news service reporters.

WINGNUTS THIS IS AN INDEPENDENDENT ONLY QUESTION!

According to the polls most of you don't like Bush or Congressional Republicans.

What is it about Democrats(liberals) that could keep you from voting for them even though you're dissatisfied with the way things are going?

It seems that anyone that isn't 100% behind our president is labelled a liberal. Liberal wasn't even a bad word until recently.

I am a woman myself, but I think it is wrong when political parties and factions try to force female mp's on their constituents, just to make up a quota, and appear politically correct. Rather than choose simply which person - male or female - is best qualified and has the right abilities for the job in question. The woman may very well be apt and highly capable, but I reckon she should earn the position on her own merits.
Women only shortlists should be banned.

Agree?

If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000 troops in the Iraq theatre of operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2,112 deaths, that gives a firearms death rate of 60 per 100,000 soldiers.

The firearms death rate in Washington D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000 for the same period. That means that you are about 25% more likely to be shot and killed in the U.S. Capitol, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, than you are in Iraq.

Conclusion: The U.S. should also pull out of Washington.

Hahahahahaha // Very funny and true

// Lets pull out from Washington first //

Well I wrote it like that to get attention.

The U.S. President is considered one of the most powerful men in the world.

Why would we allow our country to appear weak by bashing our own president???

Sure it may be funny and he may be foolish or worse. I am not into a debate on what he does..we know this...do we have be so ignorant?

By making our leader appear a clown we are going to get our $#% Kicked.

Just in case you have forgotton, Pearl Harbor was a sneek attack----the only way to actually take America down---- theoritically speaking.

So do not think for a moment that we will see it coming. The world looks at what we do and we are making a mockery of ourselves.

Could it be because they can't admit they are very scared about Islamic Extremism and know these guys are dead serious and don't negotiate, and framing a Republican as evil incarnate is easier to grapple with?
