So why is it acceptable to spew vengeance on someone whose political beliefs differ from your own? Shouldn't the marketplace of ideas — with facts and results guiding us — settle these disputes? If there really is the truth (and there is), shouldn't our collective efforts be spent attempting to discover it?

The only solution is smaller and less intrusive government. We can argue about what this smaller government should do - that's what dynamic political systems do and this too is good. But let us all stop playing this sap's game of hate. It's accomplishing nothing but damaging the country and handing even more power to politicians. A true lose-lose situation.

How come people like bush and reagan get their intelligence mocked every week (or every day on here)?

Why do they always say how smart they are and how dumb republicans are yet we never see the numbers test scores or schools attended?

Hey - what are a few rockets between friends? Surely Hezbollah is compliant with the cease fire and the UN resolutions. Those rockets don't mean a thing. We really want a long-term peaceful relationship with the world. Oh, that... just some more bombs... but we promise we won't use them... really.

For you who love to call me an anti-Semite for no other reason than what you think you know about the history of Palestine, here is a must see documentary to help you better understand the struggle. That is, if your attention span will hold up long enough to allow you to take it all in.

shouldn't people look at what politicians do and not what they say? there always full of rhetoric that's just politics but why don't blue collar republicans see him and there own party for what they are (based on what they've done and failed to do and who's benifiting and who's suffering, the rich getting richer and the blue collar working man and poor losing out.)

"Our race is the master race. We are divine gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects. In fact, compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. Other races are considred as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet, and serve us as our slaves."

One reason I hear that Christians support the GOP is because of its stance on Abortion. Do these Christians know that there are Democrats who also support Right to Life Issues? Does it not stand to reason that if more Christians would join this cause that this issue could become acceptable to the DNC? Especially if more Christians supported this issue. (Do a search on Google for Right to Life Democrats for more information)

The main difference is that Right to Life Democrats do not want to overturn Roe V Wade. But instead we want to find ways to reduce the need for Abortions. Overturning Roe V Wade will only make it illegal, not eliminate the root causes.

For those of you who are Right to Life Republicans, is the abortion issue the only factor for you to be Republican or would you consider the democratic platform on other issues?
If the abortion issue was not a consideration why do you vote Republican?

Why or why not?
