They act like they are the only ones who can know and enact the will of God...seems that loving people as Christ did should be at the top of this agenda, but it is strangely absent. Less greed-more love, charity and faith please.

However, there is one area where in polite circles it is still acceptable to really reach deep down into one's emotions and truly hate someone - spitting mad, eye-bulging, blood-pumping hate - and it is politics. Hate is presently practiced much more by the left than the right but neither has clean hands in this kerfuffle. Interestingly enough, many on the left also include Catholics and evangelical Christians as acceptable targets of hate but that is another story. Listen to the national Democrats and the blogosphere, the amount of vicious hate spewed is rather amazing. Try substituting the words right-wing (or left-wing), Republican, George Bush, etc, with black or woman or gay and see how the venom sounds now. Would you say that in polite company? I doubt it.

It seems Republicans hate the Dixie Chicks for using the freedom of speech, everything from boycotting to death threats.

question?

President Bush said we were attacked because terrorist "hate" our "freedoms",

if this is true do people who hate that the freedom of speech was used or want revenge or hate the Dixie Chicks because of thier freedom of speech or want to punish them for their freedom of speech........

do they think hate freedom just like the terrorist?

Note that the some will say that there is no freedom from consquences......those consquences include death threats or anything else to stop the continuation of that freedom of speech.

HAVE FUN.

Should the Dalai Lama encourage an armed group to be formed to protect Tibet? He could have an organization that he could publically disavow capture some Chinese soldiers. It wouldn't be necessary to harm the soldiers, but China would be sure to retaliate and probably kill some civilians. The international community would then put pressure on China to leave Tibet before more civilians are hurt or killed.

If so how? All I ever hear is "terrorist hate us because of Bush, he is an %@^*!". Before I vote for a liberal I want to hear the plan. Name calling is not a plan. How would a liberal president end terrorism? Keep in mind they hated us for a very long time. For many presidencies. Would we stop supporting Israel and make the Muslim religion mandatory for all US citizens? Tell me what's the plan? Please I already know you hate Bush. What would be the liberal plan for the next ten presidencies?

Me and Argus and stinky decided to go to " I rack " To help the cause of freedom and good ole american ways. Well Argus stopped at a hut to buy some falafil sandwiches for me and stinky and while he was in the store masked men put a bag over my head and snatched me away and left stinky behind.

2 hours later they took the mask off of my head and I guess when they saw my face for the first time they felt bad they kidnapped me because one of the guys screamed and threw up everywhere. I talked to them and told them about my life and the terrorists starting crying begging me to stop.
I begged them not to rape me and when i said that the terrorist threw up more and then the other guy started gagging. I guess they felt so bad. One of the guys even called the american soldiers and surrendered to them and I was released. Am I considered a hero? Why didnt they want to keep me as a hostage? I told them great stories about me and stinky and argus and my cat Doe Doe. Im so confused

Let's see....
Bin Laden's leadership got 2500 americans killed.
George Bush's leadership got 2500 americans and tens of thosands of Iraqis killed.
I'm sorry, but Bush scares me more than that raghead terrorist.
But seriously, I just think killing people is wrong....no matter who is doing it....and for what reason.

If you take a look back in history to the majority of wars America has fought - lets say since 1900 -
America has established bases in every single defeated nation that we maintain and post troops in regularly.

For example,
Germany, Guantanamo Cuba, South Korea, Japan, Turkey, etc.

Even in Yugoslavia, American troops are still stationed there after America's Clinton Administration bombed the Serbs.
In fact, Yugoslavia offers American police officiers from the NYPD and LAPD especially, jobs as peacekeeps making around $100,000 a year (you just have to make it back to America alive).

Isn't it obvious America WILL NEVER LEAVE IRAQ?

The reason America should have never invaded Iraq was because Saddam Husseign kept the country united. Yes he did it through terror but at least, Iraq never saw the amount of violence it is seeing since we intervened.

Iraq has lost 130,000 people because of our war.

America can't leave because the violence will just escalate.
