I had a college professor once tell me that we should "never underestimate the stupidity of the American public." I only hope that in 2006 all of these opinionated people on "Yahoo Answers" will turn out to vote...

Is there anyone who plans NOT to vote. If so tell me and tell me why you have decided this.

Like us enough to stop terrorizing the west? Maybe we could send them some food and medicne and nike shoes and some cows and stuff with the money we spend on bombs. Maybe they would like us and stop calling us names and stuff and leave our airplanes alone and be our friends. What do you think?

My question may sound a little silly, but I'm being dead serious. I have been told on many occasions that I am "Anti American" because I don't like the war in Iraq. I have also been told that I don't believe in God because I don't like Bush..or something like that. It didn't make much sense to me either.
I do like the war on terror though.....wait...there's still a war on terror? I haven't heard much about that lately. I have heard that the terror alert color has changed from greenish gray to a light hit of red and teal.
Anyway, like I was saying, am I Un-American because I don't agree with our beloved (idiot) President? I don't know about you, but I don't like to see innocent people die because of someone else's secert agenda.

This view seems prevalent here amongst the ChickenHawk NEOCONS, Kill Lebanese Women and Children. Send our troops to die in the Desert. 'This is preferable to me dying.' Anybody here recognise that attitude?

The temporary measure of the Patriot act isn't ging to be so temporary is it. Your medical records the books you buy the government now has a right to know

CIA caught kicking a prisoner so hard in the groin it lifted him in the air (Toronto Star) and kept up the torture for days and command -didn't know?

Sldiers with dogs leading prisoner around on leashes - and command didn't know? Charges of rape and torture the list goes on.

A camp kept out of the US courts view a government argueing that they don't apply to the Geneva convention and this time the "commander and chif wants to amend the law so that soldiers and CIA can't be charged and he wants it to be retroactively (will Lindsey English be exonarated decorated and put back in the armed forces?) This move on the part of George W should tell yu command did know.

So given the above How is George 2006 different from Hittler 1935? Just take the word Jew out and insert Arab or Muslim and read the Gestpo hand book again .

They go on holiday to Florida. They read about George Clooney in Heat magazine. The drink Coke. They rent Hollywood blockbusters. Then these same people march indignantly in central London to demonstrate against Bush/America/Americans/ Capitalism.
Strikes me as hypocrisy. Or don't they understand that all these things are linked?
