Miscellaneous taking the Lord's name in vain.

Where each has one vote on a issue and we ourselves create an agenda and vote it... rather than some jerks to represent us in the parliament? It could have a local, regional and a global dimension? I agree Muslim fundamentalism is a reality and given the political environment in the Muslim world it is on the rise... but are you there to fan the flames and make things worse?

Then again you have a neo-colonial agenda which is bent of spreading its global tentacles, increase hatred and violence so that it gets an excuse to suppress autonomous will of various people who are culturally, politically or economically free from the Empire?

I find myself against both these forces... I think they are helping eachother to make things bloody for all of us...Where do you stand? Do you find yourself agreeing with either of the camps? How is the battle for human freedom to be carried forward if we are made to take either or option?

During the Crusades, as explained to me by a jewish scholar that the Semitic Jews began setting up trade routes between the ME and Europe. It was my understanding that this is how europe became the home of so many Jews. Neither Christians nor Muslims were warring with the Jews, so they had the freedom to move back and forth relatively safely. Can you give me more information on this?

I've heard from my late grandfather and other old people that Iraq would've been one of the greatest, most developed countries in the world had the British occupation lasted, The Brits were honest straight forward people and ruled the country MUCH BETTER than all national governments. of course they had their own interests in the country and region but they cared for the Iraqi people too unlike our selfish national corrupted regimes, I'm originally from Iraq and lived there for 23 years.
