if there is no way to scientifically measure a global temperature?

Seems this house of cards shoved down the worlds throats is beginning to collapse at the hands of scientists as they group together at the universities and are actually disproving the theory of global warming.

If the thrust of this deceit had been aimed at the USA only it would probably still be supported world wide, yet by making it global in its consequence and cost, the leaders of this inconvenient lie have failed because the rest of the world does not believe nor are they willing to pay.

Everyday another article is published by earth scientists calling the whole thing a lie.

Material shows weakening of climate reports
By Andrew C. Revkin and Matthew L. Wald Published: March 20, 2007

WASHINGTON: A House committee released documents Monday that showed hundreds of instances in which a White House official who was previously an oil industry lobbyist edited government climate reports to play up uncertainty of a human role in global warming or play down evidence of such a role.

In a hearing of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, the official, Philip Cooney, who left government in 2005, defended the changes he had made in government reports over several years. Cooney said the editing was part of the normal White House review process and reflected findings in a climate report written for President George W. Bush by the National Academy of Sciences in 2001.

Of homes that have to be allocated to people that work for a living?
Someone just asked a question on council housing. Where i live you only qualify for council/housing association tennancies if you are on full benefits or if you can't afford to pay their own rent. If there is one earner in the household or two on minimuum wage then you can forget it.
Why should someone that works not have a fair chance of getting a decent place to rent and some long term security in their lives? At the rate house prices are going my daughter will probably decide to emigrate before she can think of affording to buy a house by the time she is old enough.(she is only 3.5 but she will need to live somewhere one day and no houses are being built other than the private sector!)

Does it ever occur to them that the reason the Iraq war is going so bad is that it was a horrible idea to begin with, and that it was about as poorly exicuted as it possibly could have been?

The Liberals havn't been running this war, the Conservatives have. So how can the Liberals have effected this war's outcome so easily? How do they do it?

Shouldn't credit go where credit is due?

"Invaders from outside" (i.e terrorism), political fighting between the ruling class and the Senate (Dem and Republicans), borders that have grown too large and indefensible, an increasing populace indifferance. Sounds like Rome right? No. How about right here in America. What can we do to prevent our own "fall"?

I could see all smart Americans stocking up on ammo if gas goes to $6.00 to $8.00 a gallon which would run food prices up to radical prices.
