or Mexican American they take away from themselves the right that they already have, the right to be an "American".
Being American isnt about White, Black, Japaniese, Hispanic, Irish, or whatever. its about liveing in a country where we are all supposed to be free. no matter what color race or religon or country of origin you are.
By classifying yourself as anything other than an "American" you are setting up your own differences from everybody else and createing your own conflicts along with.
America is the Great melting pot of the world. anyone can come here and become a citizen, and if you were born here you already are, people need to realize that this is the only country in the world that this is possible. and they need to appreciate it and start showing it I am an American,I was born here, it doesnt matter where my parents were born.

We attack other countries like the Romans and Alexander did for years . Just as Alexander, and the Roman Empire fell will the United States fall aswell?? I'm not Anti-American just wondering how long we can continue to worry about the welfare of other countries and try to establish democracy in other lands when we are doing such a piss poor job at taking care of the citizens of our own country? How long will the citizen of the USA allow themselves to be lied to about a false war when our country is being ripped at the seams due to illegal immigration, poor educational standards, and high unemployment percentages?? Wake up my fellow Americans, if we don't start to become more active in voicing our opinons to our government about whats happening to our country we will be the next to fall........

you have 3 bottles 8 liter, 5 liter and 3 liter in size. The 8 liter is full of water the other bottles are empty. Using the bottles as measuring devices and no additional water or other containers tell me how you can divide the water equally between the 8 L and 5 L bottles. Good luck connies! ;-)

Over 1000 died, some drowned in the flooding flooding, some were sick and elderly, but how did those in the Superdome die. Lack of water? Disease?

Clitoon did his best to deflect any criticism or personal responsibility for 911. What is it with this guy and personal responsibility?

It seems to be an American pasttime to place blame, point the finger and then try to find out why something happens. There are nutcases who think our government did 911.

So if there is a major attack, say a dirty bomb in NYC, LA or DC, who would be responsible? If we had a terrorist leader who knew the plan but we did not interrogate him enough to prevent the attack, who would be at fault?

The Congress?
The Administration?
The Democrats?
The Republicans?

I mean so far since 911 through some very hard work by a lot of people we have been fortunate to not see thousands of innocent people slaughtered, but lets say the security leaks that the NYT publishes help the bad guys. Who would then be responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Americans?
