The prices have been way up and now they are down yet again. Will they go lower still or will something happen now to drive the prices higher? Remember gas at $1.10 a gallon?

There are extremists in this country such as Trevor Brooks aka Abu Izzadeen who openly insult our country and want us all dead, Including the Royal Family which is therefore treason. In the past this would lead to the death penalty, and as far as I know there is still a by-law which states that these individuals should be beheaded. Can anyone tell me why this isnt happening?

We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people. Good night to everyone from frogspeaceflower!

Most women still allow the men in their lives to be the "leader" in the relationship even though the women have superior cognitive abilities and far higher intelligence and emotional quotients overall. Will this unnecessary deference ever end?

If so, I think we should forcably remove Texas, send Bush back to rule it, them completly embargo them. They're always bragging about how they are like their own damn country anyway. Let's just give them what they want and see how well they do. Besides, we could make Puerto Rico a state at the same time so we can still be 50 states and not have to lose a star on our flag! Who's with me on this?

Or better yet, can the West Coast states completely secede from the union and become our own nation? How awsome would that be? Caloreton, the Beautiful!!! Let's see how well the rest of the Bush loving, Bible thumping, hypocritcal Christian right states would fare without the 7th largest economy in the world carrying them!!

For sometime the media will talk about corruption but eventually nothing happens. All the CMs, Ministers and political leaders have retained their share. Where is the real problem with our democracy?

he is talking about religion. "Do you then study these precepts, and those which are akin to them, by all means day and night, pondering on them by yourself, and discussing them with any one like yourself, and then you will never be disturbed by either sleeping or waking fancies, but you will live like a god among men; for a man living amid immortal gods, is in no respect like a mortal being." =D

That there is so much conflict in America today? Our government and people are so divided....and yet, I am sure, we all want the same things! I'm sure of this about other countries as well. We want freedom....to live peacefully and within our religious beliefs, and to stop others who want to impose upon this. So, why is there such a disconnect between the parties? And I ask you, are you mad that America has such a disconnect and strong disagreement of issues?

As one who has just arrived from Lacnor, the third planet from the star you call Zeta Reticuli, I’m very curious about something. Why do some American earthlings, with very similar backgrounds and interests as this fellow William Jefferson Clinton, dislike him so intensely yet love this other fellow, George W. Bush? As I understand it, they both are from southern parts of the USA, attended a university called Yale, like fly fishing, BBQ, and golf, managed to avoid the war in Viet Nam, profess to be members of this religious sect called Christians, were not able to kill or capture this villainous Osama Bin Laden character and apparently have, on numerous occasions, stretched the truth for political and personal gain. Please help to enlighten this newly arrived, yet so far, undocumented alien.

We are in a war in Iraq, before that, we were in a war in afganastan, currently its looking like we're going to go to war with Iran.

Why are we in those wars? is it because Bush had credible information that Iraq is dangerous?? or is it based on this philosophy?

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Göring during the Nuremberg Trials.

The idea that perpetual war and fear prevent free thought and grant political administrations wider control is by no means new.
it was explored therouly in the book 1984.

It was exploited by the Nazies, In 1937 Hitler orderd the reichstag set ablaze, he then blamed the jewish people, this led to him being named dictator.

Closer to home, Bush is using the same principals to pass the patriot.
