When the disgusting fat body, Hugo Ducky Chavez was in the US, he claimed that he will offer discounted heating oil for the poor of the US.
As I was leaving home this morning, I noticed the local Citgo station with gas at $2.36 per gallon, two blocks east of Citgo is a Phillips 66, with gas at $2.26 per gallon. So, is what we have here the Robin Hood concept, or is Hugo and Citgo simply overcharging middle America so he can discount in the hood? By the way, who still uses oil to heat their homes? This must be a Venezuelan practice, where they heat their little grass shacks with oil!

Seems like we are trying to help people who don't want our help. How many more lives need to be lost, and resources wasted to help a government that is not willing to help itself?

If he was captured tomorrow, what should his ultimate fate be? My feeling is killing him would turn him into a martyr and we would have a lot of people committing terrorist acts in his name. I would put him in a cage somewhere in the middle of a room, ala Hannibal Lecter. What do you think?

I mean, uh……Clinton sure never tried. And Pres’dent Carter….plenty of opportunity but, uh……din’t get ‘im. Didn’t even try s’fars I know.
Johnson could’a…..could’a got ‘im while he was still in grade school. Didn’t!
Kennedy could’a gone after him before he was offa his momma’s teet. Too busy goin’ after lesser threats like Khrushchev.

Truman….he uh……he had the A-bomb. Shouldn’ta wasted it on Japan when he coulda just used it on Iraq where EVERYONE knows was the international seat of terr’ism and WMDs for the last thousand years or so.
Roosevelt coulda gone after Osama’s daddy, Muhammed Awad Bin….uhhh….Bin somethin’ er other. Preemptive Strike we call that in uh….we uh….my friends and I like to say.

So, nobody’s done nothin’ ta get Saddam Bin La….Osama Bin Laden ‘cept me, my daddy, and Ronnie Reagan who sold weapons to Iran in order to make the world a safer place for uh……uh…..know-what-I’m-sayin’?

Thing is…….s’not my fault….’kay! I mean uhhh, nothin’ ever is!

Everyone is jumping on this bandwagon about the increase in the global threat of terrorism, which I wholeheartedly agree with. However, the US isn't the only one to blame. I believe Isreal is a major actor in the current problem as well. Let me say that I am not anti-semetic, only anti-Zionist.
Read these and decide for yourself:

These sites shed light on the issues in Isreal. One is written by Arabs, one by Jews. By the way, the second website is for those of you who will say I am anti-semitic.

PEACE PETITION

We demand the outlawing of atomic weapons as instruments of intimidation and mass murder of people.
We demand strict international control to enforce this measure.
We believe that any government which first uses atomic weapons against any other country whatsoever will be committing a crime against humanity and should be dealt with as a war criminal.
We call on all men and women of goodwill throughout the world to sign this appeal.

They think that GWB should have gotten OBL in 8 months when Clinton didn't do it in 8 years.
He had a new presidency and I think may have been a little busy replacing all the W's they took off the keyboards.

Has Labour policy pushed people into debt with their attitude to the public finances, excessive taxation, and their lack of action to control a runaway boom in property prices that allow people to borrow way beyond their means.

Where are the forged documents, the leaked memos, the Jayson Blairs? Where are the folks comparing their political enemies to Holocaust deniers? Why did they let Bill O'Reilly go after the oil companies for high gas prices?

I still think they have a lot to learn from CBS and the New York Times . . .

Time to stir the pot! :)

America is one of the last countries to adopt the metric system (metres, kilometres, litres). I find this strange since they are arguably the leaders with most things.

The American property market is now falling on a year by year basis - we are told that UK house prices are overvalued if we look at the rise compared to the increases in people's incomes, will we see similar drops in value here? What is likely to crystalise this situation?

The US's unilateral action to remove an evil dictator and instil democracy but with evident economic motives, or China's and Russia's unwillingness to get involved with Iran's blatant disregard of the UN because of their econmic interests? Should we accept this wrong/evil if it is believed that it will ultimately help a country?

I know you're all going to say the US has in no way helped Iraq but discuss not the practicalities of this but the theory.
