People complain they take all the jobs.........Border Patrol is ALWAYS hiring, you can be paid to protect the border, paid to protect America.

We have a specific group of AMERICANS that patrol our borders trying to keep us safe, and it baffles me that so few care enough to actually PATROL THE BORDER!!!!!

I mean we sit here and complain that they take our jobs but we won't do the one job that keeps them from doing it!!!

WHAT IS WRONG? WHY AREN'T PASSIONATE AMERICANS GOING TO PROTECT THEIR COUNTRY AND THEIR CHILDRENS FUTURE BY WORKING FOR THE BORDER PATROL???

"WASHINGTON U-S House Republicans seeking to get tough on illegal immigration plan a new vote tomorrow on a -border fence- proposal.

The bill calls for building more than 700 miles of double-layered fencing along the nearly two-thousand-mile border with Mexico.

The House approved the same amount of fencing when it passed its -enforcement-focused- immigration overhaul bill last December.

Well didnt YOU the "legal citizen" vote for them and now you're whining about their stand on immigration issues? Some people say "we the people elect the politicians and so therefore we keep them in office or they are out of a job".

If it only were that easy people.

If that rhetoric were to be true, America would of never entered WWII because 72% of Americans back then said that it was no use of entering the war. There was no threat to this country. The same goes gor Iraq, and the same goes for Immigration. Politicians regardless of what personal views are do whats best for this country. Immigration legal or not is the soul of this country and thats how its going to stay.

I'm petitioning the USCIS for my alien fiance (using form I-129F) from southern Vietnam to come to the United States so that we can marry each other when she arrives here. I understand that I will need to file the I-134, Affidavit of Support. This form requires supporting evidence of Incomes and resources. What documents constitutes as evidence in my case. My VA disability compensation and SSDI amount to about $45000 annually, and I haven't filed income tax since year 2000. Can any USCIS official, fellow petitioner, veteran or lawyer help me out here? Thank you in advance.

all support Amnesty why is it that people STILL believe the idea of "Round'em up and deport them all" mentality? Are people really that blinded by reality that think thats really going to happen?

Ted Kennedy(doesnt get any far left that) supports Amnesty.
George Bush supports Amnesty
Hillary Clinton supports Amnesty
Arnold Z. supports Amnesty
Rick Perry supports Amnesty
John Mckain supports Amnesty
Bill Richardson supports Amnesty
etc. etc. etc. And I wont even go on the Big American Coprporations that support Amnesty that are the financial backbone of this country.

Yes you have your Pat Buchannan, and Lou Dobbs, Sean Hannity people but they arent law makers like the people I just mentioned. They are just there to balance the views of American people.
For all you Anti's I suggest you just throw the towel and get real here. This country wants them here so they are going to stay here.

My friend has been married for 5 years and they have a daughter together. She still cannot work and would really like to help her husband with bills and bringing income into the household. Doesn't she automatically become a citizen or something of that nature? Shouldn't she be abe to work at least or get a green card? Without too much hassle?

Why do illegals say their legal because their children are legal? That isn't a reason to stay. They broke the law their children didn't. But they don't think about that. And if they say if they say if they go and their children stay they would miss their children. IF YOU MISS THEM SO MUCH TAKE THEM WITH YOU!!!

IT could be the case in that scenario because we do have a current influx of illegal Polish immigrants due to a crumbling economy in that country. My question being..do you think that the
Poles would csll American's racist against whites and raise the Polish flag in Immigration rallies. Do you think they would boycott work and school? I'm not trying to bash Poles...the vast majority immigrate here legally. I'm just trying to draw a paralell

I keep reading that we need to protect our borders and deport all illegal immigrants. I would like to know how that can be done realistically.

Keep in mind there are about 12 million of them, they are hiding and they don't have ID. You gotta find them all and lock them up somewhere while you work out the details of how you fly them back. (you need lots more ICE agents and jail beds). Once they are out, how do you keep them from turning around and coming right back? A wall can be climbed over, tunneled under or through. How do the companies replace 12 million workers? Keep in mind you are against passing a law that would give them legal status or let them come legally to work. Are the companies so rich that they can afford to pay $5 more per hour for American workers? Wouldn't the smaller restaurants, construction companies, farms etc. go out of business?

I am really interested in hearing a solution that could work.
