There's a pretty strict guideline of what's acceptable. All posters have to be run by a teacher, so nothing with curse words would be okay. Also, if someone thought of something that had to do with Borat, that'd be super popular.

Imagine the mainstream media did not exist, televisions were not around and the only way people got information was from reading newspapers, radio and word of mouth.

Do you think this would have a profound affect in current times when it comes to voting for candidates?

Do you think the current and past partys' from as far back as 40 years ago may be different if mainstream media and television did not exist?

What kind of impact would it have on your personal political affiliation?

Please explain.

I don't remember us failing New Orleans. Democratic Mayor, Democratic Govenor. Re-elected the same sorry Mayor. I think the leadership of Louisiana failed New Orleans and no one else. I can't tell you the number of people I know that quit caring about NO when Nagin was re-elected.

1. Rudy brought Caroline to City Hall on Take Your Daughters to Work Day in 1994 and 1995, his first two years as mayor, but never again — because by 1996 "the relationship between Giuliani and his twentysomething press secretary had so poisoned the marriage that all such family events were impossible."
2. The Giulianis went on a family vacation after he was elected in 1993 — and then never did again.
3. On Father's Day 1995, Giuliani told reporters he was going to play baseball with his son — and instead went to a basement suite at City Hall with his "ever-present" press secretary.
4. Neither his wife nor his kids went to Rudy's victory party when he was reelected in 1997.
5. The kids aren't listed in Giuliani's bio on his Web page.
6. He skipped his son's high-school graduation.
7. He went to Caroline's but left without speaking to her. "I am celebrating with my mom, my stepfather, my brother, and our other family members," she said then.

He wants the troops to come home.
Is there anything wrong with that?
The justification of war - WMD's - was false. There was no reason to go in there.
Then why should the troops stay?

Technically, it is an undeclared war, so its illegal anyway.

Besides, after the invasion there has been more trouble. There is Al-qaida now, where there was none previously. There is a civil war going on, which is not going to get better with US troops presence.

Why should not the troops come home, as Ron Paul says?

My research shows that most will join the Green party or the Libertarian party.
Anywhere is fine as they stay away from the Democratic party.
No need to mess it up too.

My name is _____ for those of your who do not know me. i am not here to promise you an easy year, to garuntee you victory, or superiority, but i can garauntee one thing, i can garuntee that thorne (team name), the spartans, will no longer be looked at as a bottom house. we will have superior organization, passion, and a thirst to win. we will become as a unit, as a block. vote for me and we will have such an impact on thorne that it will last for years to come. vote for me and we will be known as the year that thorne held no mercy. vote for me, and lets start the spartan revolution.

In most states other than Nebraska and Maine,it's a winner take-all system. California's debating over populism vs district electoral. I think there are flaws in either desired system.

Populism--Will lead to urbanization of the political structure ie all a candidate will do is go to big cities. A vast amount of the country will be neglected.

District--Districts aren't proportional to the population necessarily and that might distort a level populism most Americans desire as well.
-----------------
My alternative is to establish in each state a system in which population is divided by electoral..which usually equals around 650k per electoral. These electorals will be devised by 6 judges 3democrat/3 republican...and they must be approved by the state legislature every 2 years (or else you use the former).

This way parts of the south are open to democrats, and parts of the north and california are opene to republicans. It would still bring a broad concensus, and apply some populism
