I keep reading that the mexican drug smuggler involved in the beating of Ramos and Compean border patrol agents intends to sue the Border Patrol. How is this possible?

I thought the US government could not be sued...?

Also, if that is the case, can the US government counter-sue the Mexican government for the millions of illegal aliens living in our country?

Why is Schumer promising not to raises taxes on the rich Wall Streeters?

How big of a donation will Schumer and Hillary get from the former CEOs of Citigroup and Merrill Lynch? Both of them destroyed thousands of American families with sub-prime mortgages that they knew could never be repayed.

Don't Dems care about average Americans? Do they just protect the super-rich donors?

Several weeks ago the Dems swore that they would raise taxes on private equity firms from Wall Street. But, the Dems have gotten millions of dollars in "donations" from Wall Streeters and have since change their minds. Sad? Sick?

What will happen to the American people that are just surviving now. How many will die from like of fuel to keep warm. Do you realy think any of our representatives care? I am very old, so it makes little difference for me, but I feel bad for the young people that are without any hope.

In the not-too-distant future autonomous microrobots will be plentiful and cheap. Robotic mosquitos will fly into ears and detonate. Swarms of robotic ants will attack us in our sleep. How will we be able to protect ourselves from terrorists wielding these killer micro-robots?

Doesn't it seem like the Dems make everyone seem "needy"?

They want to bail out people who just 2 years ago bought $600,000 homes. And, many of them will likely qualify for the Dems "free healthcare" idea.

I travel often. I drive 500 miles a week to work (sometimes stay overnight) and also fly several times a year. I take 12 different medications.
For convenience, I put the medications in those pill boxes that they sell and label them.

My question is: Can I print out a copy of the prescription information in case I am ever questioned about the medication? The printed info has my name, prescribing doc and medication info.

Traveling with 12 bottles of medication is really an inconvenience and it takes up alot of space.

I need to know the legal issue surrounding carrying medication that is not in the original containter

In the past decade or so abortion has been declining(less than one million)....meanwhile IVF treatments are becoming more and more frequent. During each IVF treatment at least one if not more embryo's are destroyed. Some women require several treatments before they are pregnant. Insurance companies are now starting to include/cover fertility treatments and it's estimated that 25 million have fertility issues. Bottom line IVF treatments(and alike) are on the rise...they may soon surpass embryo's "destroyed" via abortion.

Will the fertility challenged become a new target(once this happens) of the pro-life supporters?

I work for my current job more than two years now. I have an agreement with my boss to have a few months off to visit my relatives in another country. She said that I would have to give her a leave of absence and she promises me my job back after my trip.
Few days ago, I gave her my letter of leave of absence, but she told me that I have to give her a letter of resignation for my leave and she cannot promise a position when I come back.
My company is currently under restructure and has too many staff for not enough positions; that means I will definitely not have my job back. And if I resign like she said, I will not be able to apply for unemployment.
Someone told me that my boss is not allowed to tell me to quit my job for something we both had an agreement.
Is that true? Does my boss have no authority to tell me to resign?

I am doing a debate Lincoln-Douglas style on the issue of same-sex marriages. I am on the con side of the situation and my teacher wants me to focus more on the government in the United States and the constitution/amendments. Honestly I can't seem to figure out what he's trying to nudge my partner and I to, but I have come up with some ideas. By posting this question I do not mean to offend any person because I actually support same-sex marriage, all the more making it harder for me to see what my teacher is trying to point out.

Don't you still need a police report even if it's something small.
If we don't call the police, what's keeping the other driver from denying they ever hit us (assuming there's no witnesses)?

My hubs just graduated from basic training, and ever since he signed up a year ago, he wanted to do FC (fire control), surface warfare.

He's been trying to get it, but they put him in ET, and he's not too happy about it. They recently asked if anybody wanted to go to FC, and he wasn't picked, because he found out too late.

Will there be any chance somewhere down the line where he could switch over? He would like more than anything to do SWCC, and that requires being an FC.

Any help? He's stressed out about this, so if there are any veterans or active duty personell, PLEASE help! =) Thank you!
