I work as a dishwasher in a family-owned pizza restaraunt. One of my coworkers wiped a cut with a rag, getting a significant amount of blood on the rag. I have half a dozen rags go my way a day, so I picked it up before I see blood on it and get blood in an open cut. I washed my hands within about a minute of the incident, and within three days I went to the doctor. They ran some blood tests for legal purposes (to show I have no blood transmitted disease before this point) but until January I won't be able to run a test that will have conclusive results.

Now, my coworker refuses to get tested under any circumstances. My boss made no disciplinary action, and absolutely refuses to pay for medical bills under South Carolina guidelines as he is required to. Now, my insurance company is pressing the issue since it was a work-related incident and is probably going to refuse the claim.

Forget his job title for the moment... that's not going to last much longer... Isn't there a law that states there is no limitation on certain crimes or criminal acts to bring the perpetrator to "justice"?

Today I was driving on road where construction is going to convert this road with signals to highway. Posted speed limit is 45. I was driving in 50 - 55 speed in left lane with cars ahead of me also driving same speed. Then I saw white car standing in shoulder( This was police car. With no sign that it was police car.) I thought in my mind maybe this car wants to merge on the road. There was no car behind me. So I thought maybe if I went into right lane he will be able to merge. There was truck in right lane driving at 40/45 so I thought to overtake it from left lane & increased speed. & Police cought me. I know & God knows I was trying to help somebody to get merged on road. When he was writing down my ticket another cop came to chat with him & both were talking there. I am just feeling these cops or system expects everybody to be so perfect does anybody like that exists. Don't these cops do something wrong (like this cop was talking on duty & wasting my time.) maybe cheat spouse ...

This is somewhat related to the question of who should be the nominee. But not entirely.

Frankly, I am concerned that all of the Republicans' two or three major players have substantial drawbacks.

I like what I see of Thompson, philosophically, but he has yet to prove himself completely to me.

Then again, one could well say that ALL of the Democratic contenders are "minor players" when it comes to experience, and there are splits on issues in that party too.

I am concerned, though, that the Democrats are very organized, and the American electorate has a history of "taking turns" with the parties.

So, tell me what you think - who has the best chance of leading the party and keeping the White House?

I must say at the start I am not a Ron Paul fan. And I can't stop Democrats from answering, although that's not really my focus.

I don't want to be too pessimistic, but if you have good news please share it. I can't believe the country would vote for Clinton, but . . .

I'm a little confused about this thing. The original attempted murder charges were ridiculous. As such, they've been dropped, which is good. But what is the protest trying to achieve? Shouldn't the six kids who attacked the single kid, giving him a concussion and multiple severe lacerations be punished in accordance with their actions? I would certainly hope so.

I'm not even going to try to say there aren't many racist overtones in this whole thing, but when it comes down to brass tacks, six black men ganged up and assaulted one white man. That is a significant crime and should be treated as such. I hope that the protest about the other facets of this case don't overshadow that.

Conversation 1 (After interviewing a male candidate)
VP:He's really quite hotshot. i was really impressed with his resume and qualifications. i hope you're not offended,Jones, that he's a man and all, but u know, i think men are better suited for the sales and marketing position.
Jones:what does being a man have to do with this? why don't you think a women could do just as good as a job?
VP:Well i think that male sales director are better able to handle the pressures from diffrent constituents. Sometimes they have to be a little more aggressive and forceful in their dealings.

Conversations 2 (after interviewing a female candidate)
VP:i like her qualifications she seems very competent, but we're not hire her. keep her resume in file, through she's mt type.
Jones:what do you mean?
VP:well she is blond, which i personally like, and more mature.with older woman you don't have to deal with all the problems, like pregnancy and family, that younger women have.

I'm not sure on the LASEK/LASIK eye surgery rules for all countries but many don't fancy it(including mine: AUS) and still contest that their pilots have 20/20 vision.

The argument is pretty straight forward,
$200mill plane vs. blurry mountain

but what I'm gettin at is:

OVER A THIRD of people have poor eye sight:
http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/m/myopia/stats.htm

Are the armed forces really taking the right precaucions when they rule out over a third of possible applicants?

Obviously the kid was asking for it. But it should have never progressed that far. If he were asking Dick Cheney, Mitt Romney, or John McCain a tough question he'd have been allowed to finish his question. But no liberal college is about to give freedom of speech rights to a student asking a Democrat tough questions. No brainer.

I have seen a few vets turn traitor by questioning the President, and the war for Freedom in Iraq (like swiftboat coward John Kerry). I say anyUS military Veteran who engages in such subversion shouild lose all VA benifits. I expect liberals to hate America- by their very character they hate freedom- But Veterans have NO excuase to attack our leaders- and they have NO right to backstab the troops.
All the US soldiers in Iraq are heroes, and want to be there.
Do you think Veterans who hate America (and they are a super small minority) should be allowed to spew their venom?

Speaking out against Pres Bush or the war in Iraq should result in total cancelation of a vet's VA benifits.

I am living next door to a lady who has been evicted several times and is causing all sorts of problems with all the other tenants (pepper spraying tenants, following, etc.). She will not leave b/c she keeps filing for extentions. My landlord went to court for all this and now she has til the 30th at 5pm to be out or the Sheriff will be here to physically remove her from the building. Or so I have been told. I am now hearing that if she doesnt leave there is nothing we can do. I am wanting written proof that this psycho is going to be out! I do not want to have to move b/c I am paying dirt cheap rent for the size of apt. that I am in and if I would move I would be paying double. If I call the police station or courthouse, what all can I get copies of?

New York Rep. Peter King, a prominent House Republican, said there are “too many mosques in this country” in a recent interview with Politico.

“There are too many people sympathetic to radical Islam,” King said. “We should be looking at them more carefully and finding out how we can infiltrate them.”

Excuse me Representative King I thought one of my country's bedrock principles was freedom of religion or did they change the law and I missed it?

He claims it his statement was "taken out of context" but I think this video shows it was not

I often hear about protests in Europe bashing Pres Bush or America as a whole- I assume like liberals inside America, the Europeans bash America for the same reasonm the Islamofascists bash us- they hate us because we have freedom, and they don't. Mabey its fear of that which they don't understand, or a true hatred for freedom.

We have brought freedom to Afganistan and Iraq- and rather than ceelbrate this reality, the Europeans burn our flags and slam our country. Europeans have NO understanding of freedom and democracy. America is the world's beacon of freedom- thats why so many foreigners try to move to this country. The British are probrolly the only people who realize america is the beacon of freedom- the rest of Europe are ripped with anger in their jealousy of America. The fact is America is a superior nation to all others, and they can't accept that.......
Why do so many Europeans hate freedom so much?

I know we cant yell "FIRE" in a movie theater, or "BOMB" on a plane, and I definately CANT say "Iwanna kill the next president" without consequences. So are we REALLY free?

That also could apply to abortion, Yes you are free to execute your baby, but THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES to your actions, maybe not religious ones, but DEFINATELY psychological ones. I PROMISE

I agree that there may be some white racist idiots over there, but why should these teens get off just becaue they are black?
The case needs to be tried in a different location to eliminate the racial and sensational element, and the black teens should pay the price for what they have done. a whole gang against one kid? Thats pretty low.

In time of war people need to support our leaders and soldiers- if they don't agree with the war, they need to shut up.
Libs who slam Bush and the troops reveal their deep hatred for this country. Attacking and questioning the President and the troops in wartime should be punsihed with prison time-It is not 'free speech'!
Does anyone think it really is?
Moveo.org, cindy sheean and any liberal scum who spouts anti authoritarian communist propaganda should be arrested.
The problem with freedom in America is we have too MUCH freedom. If redefining freedom of speech will get the liberals, hippies, athiests and feminazis out of my country and in jail where they belong, Im all for it.Here is liberal logic for you- In their communist mind, its okay to spew anti American hate at our soldiers or President- BUT you CAN'T say anything that might *OFFEND* someone who is a homosexual, black or Muslim. God forbid we offend the Muslims!
Why don't liberals realize they abuse freedom of speech?
