I have tried everything to get my dog to stop soiling the floor but he won't stop. He is about 6 to 6 1/2 months old male Chihuahua. He used to be so good about going in his litter box when we first got him for a about a month and then all of a sudden he started to go on the floor every where. I have tried sprays and powders and cleaning and showing him his litter pan and telling him "potty" but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions out there would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are chihuahuas the only dog that burrow under blankets to keep warm? Is this a sign of tool use? If it is, could chihuahuas be considered the smartest dog breed? I have a miniature poodle who seems extremely smart, but doesnt ever burrow under blankets. But then he has much longer fur.

Almost everytime he does something bad and I'm telling him no he gets this look on his face like he is going to bite me and he'll growl and sometimes he snaps at me. He even got me once and bruised my arm immediately. Funny thing is I have never even laid a hand on him.. but we did recently get him from the pound. Help please, don't want to have to take him back because he is a sweet dog, he's very lovable otherwise just when he gets mad he chews and when you tell him no he tries biting.

I have a Cairn Terrier * like todo on the Wizard of oz* However, he will pee and poop in the house right after i take him outside. I have stood outside and made him do his business and then brought him inside. This only leads to him doing more on the floor I have cleaned the tile flooring that he is on so there is no scent of any type and still he goes on the floor.. any suggestions??

I accidentally left the food bin open and Allie got into it. Based on the size of the hole dug out of the food, she ate about as much food as would fill a gallon milk jug. Her stomach is now very big and is bulging out past her rib cage, and she is burping a lot. She is a 7 year old yellow lab that weighs approximately 75 pounds. She usually only eats two measured cups of food a day, and maybe another half cup of Cheerios (one at a time for treats). How concerned should I be? Does anyone know how to tell if her stomach is going to burst, or if it does, how will I know?

I appreciate any comments. Thanks!!

Pip

SHE HAS CHEW TOYS, RAW HIDE BONES AND EVEN THE BIGGEST BONES WE CAN GET SHE CHEWS UP IN DAYS. HOW CAN WE KEEP HER CHEWING JUST HER TOYS AND NOT EVERYTHING ELSE?

I'm getting a a puggle soon and was wondering if I litter box train him now, using either peepads or the litter so he will have a place to go at all times...then train him to go outside most of the time, but just have the litter box as a back up for when I'm not home?

There are 4 large piles of horse crap in the road outside my house. Not only does it stink but there are flies buzzing round it and no doubt some motorcyclist will come down the road and skid off his bike because of it.

There are laws for dog owners who I believe can be fined £1000 for leaving dog mess in the road. I believe this should also be the case for horse owners. Anyone agree?
