She eats once in the morning, once at night. She is eating Nutro Ultra Puppy. Even when she was a baby (she is 5 or 6 months now) she pooped this much. Why is it? My other 2 dogs poop twice a day, but she goes a LOT!

I live in a huge apartment building. I noticed a lot of dog poo in the grass outside and have stepped on it a couple of times. I unknowingly tracked it into my apartment one day where my toddler walks! I was so angry, I posted a sign that says, "Clean up after your dog!!" A couple of days later, someone took it down and wrote on the other side, "No f-ing dog in this rent!" and then reposted it. What does that even mean? I just put it back the way I had it, but fear that they are now going to mess with me even more. Do you think I am dealing with 2 sepearate issues here? (The person who changed my sign might not even own a dog) How would you deal with both? I live in Chicago. Isn't there a law against this?

Skye jumps up at everyone who walks in the door and being the big girl she is knocks most people flying, she is not doing this in a nasty way she is just very playful. Also when skye gets excited she gets nipy and it HURTS but again it is all playful. Any ideas and has anyone else experienced this. Otherwise she is a lovely big pup and we love her to bits.

my dog is suffering from this and going through weekly sedation in order to clean the ear canal plus heavy antibiotics. Her ear drums have both burst and we don't know how far the bacteria may have spread. Her quality of life is good. She is a happy playful 7 year old corgi/beagle. If weekly treatments don't kill this we have to look at surgery and other options. Anyone have advice or been through this? Help!

and i know that they will want to pet my dog (chico). now i know that my dog would NEVER hurt a kid, but i still want to teach them a few dog safety tips. what are some suggestions? i know 1) you should never pet a dog unless it is with it's owner and 2) you should ask the owners permission first and 3) get down to the dogs level and hold your hand out in a fist and let him sniff it (but does it matter what way you hold your fist out: wrist up or down?). any more ideas?
my dog is a chihuahua, so he his small and gets intimidated by big towering people, but he genuinally loves kids. :-)

I am trying to convince my dad to let us(the family)get a yellow labrador, but he is obsessed with the fact that dogs smell and says no. We had a smelly dog before, but the vet said it was cause by an allergy and she was really old. Do all dogs really smell? I have seen deoderizer wipes and sprays for sale, do they work? Is there a better way to make sure a dog doesn't smell? Do not suggest to make it an outdoor dog.

When i go over to my sisters house her female cavalier king charles always gets straight up onto my knee and if i was to olet her, she proceeds to lick my nose. This can be a real event, she licks right up it and has been known to spend a half hour doing it

I moved from a very small town to a city when my boxer was 7 months. She's trained and she used to walk on her leash with no problem. Ever since we got to the city, she's terrified of everything, especially vehicles and trucks that don't move. When she sees these things, she doesn't think about what she's doing and runs. I have fallen many times because of this.

To try and help her walk better, I tried a gentle leader, harness, her regular collar, and now I just bought a choker (without spikey things). This still isn't working. When we are outside, she is in a zone. She doesn't even notice me or my other dog there. So, how can I get her to notice me, listen to me, and walk when she is freaking out?

I have a friend whose neighbor who lets her children come into her unfenced yard to play on her swingset and they throw sticks at her dogs even though she has told them many times not to play in her yard when her daughter is not playing there with them. When they are in their yard they still throw things at her dogs and hit them. Who can she contact to file a complaint about them abusing her dogs and also file complaint if they get hurt in her yard she doesn't want to be liable. I told her I would try to help her find information.

We had given our dog to our sister inlaw while our other dog had puppies. She was only suppose to have him a month or so. Her husband decieded he didnt want the dog and "accidently" let him loose. When we finally found out that he had "ran away" it was three days later. I went the next morning and found him at the pound. Since hes been home hes has become very sick. The vet said it is kennel cough. He is constantly hacking and even has thick green boogers. Its horrible. Shouldnt they have something to prevent this from happening at the pound? My poor dog has suffered for no reason. I feel they should be held responsible. Shouldnt they????

I am moving into an apartment soon, so I am going to have to take him for walks. But when I take him for walks, he wont move. He just stands there. I dont know what to do, because soon, he wont have a backyard you to go potty in. I have tried using both collars and a harness... and neither work.

Animal abuse is out of control & alot of the doings are by people who supposedly love animals. And owners need to take responcibility for their pets by providing them with the proper care & training.

My pooch was neutered yesterday, and he's NOT adjusting the the cone collar he has to wear for the next 10 days. Does this fear get better over time, and is there anything I can do to help? He can't take it off, or he could tear the stiches out.

Tonight i took my bealge pup of 7 months old outside with a choke collar on her. Somehow she managed to get her head out, and then bolted across the road and everywhere around my house. I quickly went inside and got her treat jar and started shaking it vigorously, as that sometimes does the trick. She didn't come though, and after few more minutes of running around, she just sat looking at me, and then i slowly walked towards her then grabbed her. Thank God. Question 1)What could I have done better in the situation?
question2) Should I also get a smaller choke chain? is it easy for dogs to escape out of choke chains in general?

I'd also like to add that she's been well socialised, been to puppy kindy (in the process of looking for a dog school now). She "sits" "heels" "down" and "wait" and all that other command most of the time inside the house.
I also used the amichien bonding methods recommended by the doglistener Jan Fennell, and other dominance methods.
