I have a shih tzu/Lhasa Apso female and I am looking to breed her for myself. I want another dog. And since she is so cute I want it to be from her. But I have no idea where I can go about looking for a person with a male dog of any smaller breed. Last time I asked a question like this, I got back rude replies stating that I shouldn't breed dogs because it's people like me that make it so that there are too many dogs that are strays. If you are like this, keep your nose out of it. After I breed her this once, I am getting her fixed. And as soon as her baby or babies are old enough I plan of getting them fixed also. Like I said, I just want another small dog without the cost of buying another one. So if there is anybody in Wisconsin near Coloma/Plover/Wautoma area with a small male dog of any breed and are willing to let me breed my dog with him PLEASE email me or leave me your email. I would greatly appreciate it.Thank you.

I foster sat a dog for a night in order to see if I would want one. He was so loving and wonderful. I took him outside to do his business after eating, once during the night, and several other times during the day. He was a 1 1/2 year old terrier mix. He still peed and pooped everywhere in the apt. He has been fixed. He also tore my blind up in my bedroom while I was out getting groceries. I shouldn't have crated him while gone though, right? What am I doing wrong? I want to have a dog, but I want to have an apt deposit left when I leave, too.

My dog goes crazy whenever an ambulance/police siren goes off. He starts barking and howling very loudly and gets noticeably riled up. Why is this? Is this really common?

My dog keeps on jumping up and the counter and eating foods. My dad is on the brink of bringing her to the pound just to get rid of her. Do you know of anyway other than hitting her to help with this problem?

About 10 years ago, while I was walking to catch a bus, I passed a house where there was a German shepherd in the yard. The dog started walking alongside me, and when we got to a crowded area he would growl at anyone who came near me or even passed me on the sidewalk. People started yelling at me to control "my dog", but he was NOT my dog...I had never seen him before. When I got to the bus stop I sat down on a bench and the dog put his front legs up on my lap and just looked into my face. I went into a store, hoping he would go away, but when I went out 10 minutes later he was still there. I sat down again, and again he put his front legs up on my lap. When my bus came, he tried to get on with me, but of course he was shut out. He ran after the bus until he could no longer keep up.

To this day remember this dog and wonder WHY he acted that way.

I just rescued a starved puppy and need advice on what to feed her to get her healthy again. She is a purebred (I think) Pitbull about 12 weeks old. I soaked some dry food in warm water until it softened and she ate it....but she is so starved that she eats very fast and shakes the entire time she is standing....then after a few min. she just gets sick and vomits because her stomach isnt used to the food. HELP PLEASE ! !

How do you prevent your dog being felt left out when you get a baby? And is it preferable that you get a dog after a baby? But my only concern is that after a baby I will get too busy and I would give up the idea of getting a dog as it would mean doubling my work. But I am very keen on having a dog. Please advice a good time.
Also, is having a dog during pregnancy harmful for pregnancy? Does it depend on dog breed?

ok, so my parents have a blue heeler, hes not even a year old, the problem is that now that my brothers and i are grown up were not at home as often, so the pup gets limited play time and has to be tied up sometimes because when when he does get play, hes very rough and boy does he love to bite, its playful biting but it gets tiresome and it hurts, especially for my parents, so i need help to get him to stop biting thats all, because i know hes a pup and hes full of energy, hes worse than that pink bunny with the battery, anyways, i need help from anyone with experience, because ive already heard from my parents that hes going to be taken away because my parents arent as young as they used to be to be taking care of another child, a wild child like this one, so please any info will help

Ok, dear friends, believe me I did an old lady a favor. My daughter brought the puppy and told me that the old lady was giving the pups away, she got problems and couldn't keep them. He, Bailey the puppy, was about 2 weeks when he came home. The lady told us that she gave them milk and the wet food , I guess the mother wasn't feeding them, don't know. Well, I guess Bailey is about more than a month because he got here in the middle of Sept. He is very happy, healthy, running around and we love him. I guess he is ready now for the vet, we are aware of that, he is going to get his shots. Maybe was my mistake not calculating his age, he must be 6 to 8 weeks now. So don't get mad with me, we saved these puppies, every person who took one got them very happy and healthy like this one is, (right now he is fighting with a stuffed toy, he loves them). And, thank you to all of you. I love my pets and will never hurt them in any way.

My Golden Retreiver has hurt her tail somehow and won't let me touch it to see what is wrong. She is walking around with her tail between her legs instead of holding it up like normal. If I I try to grab it and take a look she cries. So did she break a bone or something? Whats the remedy?
