I have a three year old male Chihuahua that we adopted a year ago. The only time that he pees in the house is when we are sleeping. I crate him when I'm out and we tried crating him at night, but he puts up a fight. He pees by the bed. We pick up the water about 9pm. Also what can I do to get the smell out? I have tried so much.

A couple weeks before he died his coat looked little funny but he acted and ate fine, then a week before he died his eating slowed down and after 2 days of that I took him to vet and he gave my dog a antibiotic shot and the next day wasnt any better so took him back to vet. He completely stopped eating and drinking and after two days at the vet with iv he died. The vet said he didnt think he was poisend and still doesnt know what killed him.His shots were up to date and it wasnt parvo, hook worms or heart worm.Anyone have any ideas? Can you poisen a dog without the vet knowing?

I am looking for a small bichon that the judges would look twice at, what should I be asking the breeders and how can I tell. What are the good and bad things I should be looking for?.

My dog has no fever, it seems just a virus, tummy bug. Has had diarrhea 4 days now. The vet suggested putting her on bland diet, which I've done, and she's had 2 feedings so far, but she's not back to normal yet. I cooked for her rice, poached chicken breast, hard-boiled egg. Likes it and is eating well. I saw on another forum to give her canned pumpkin? or nonfat vanilla yoghurt? There is an anti-diarrheal paste to buy from the vet but I wanted to try to fix her up at home. Do you have experience with this? Thanks.

Where can I get a puggle puppy that is within a reasonable driving distance from Washington D.C? I already have researched the breed, so I don't need any info from all the designer dog haters out there.

Thanks!

My dog is a full breed pomeranian and was breed with another full breed pomeranian. She is now pregnant. She was producing milk and seemed to have contractions sunday night. She was very uncomfortable and was not acting like herself. Well, the contractions stopped by monday morning. Today she is not producing milk. She is panting and scratching at her blanket. But other than that she is back to herself today. Her temperature is 100.4. Is their something wrong or do dogs have false labor? She has had pups before and did not have any complications.

I personally dislike the bans because they are punishing the breed instead of the owner who doesn't know anything about the dog and just wants to own one. When a pit attacks they blame the pitbull but what about the owner? The owner wasn't calm and assertive(dog whisperer). I know some of my neighbors who HATE pits witha passion and won't give up the fact that it's not the dogs fault. The bans never work.
