I have two (somewhat) feral cats that I have cared for, for over 3 years. I have had them spayed & neutered with shots. They come inside my home to eat and rest and allow me to pet them but they mainly live outdoors. My problem is that I am about to move and I want to take them with me. I need to know if its possible for them to adjust to a new neighborhood or will there be a problem because all they have every know is where we live now. I am heartsick thinking that they might get confused or lost in the new neighborhood. If anyone knows anything about feral cats, please share your information with me.
Thanks very much,
Vicki

my three cats never let me do ANYTHING without getting in the way. Like if I clean house they have to attact the broom, get in the way, jump on the counter when I wash dishes...etc. When I do something on the computer they have to jump right on the keyboard. I always had dogs and they would come and lay by my feet or lay their head on my lap but cats seem to have to be right in the action and I just wondered why is that. I thought cats were supposed to be independent.

My nine-month-old female, Gidget, went into labor and when she started pushing, there was a tiny tail sticking out of the birth canal. I thought, this can't be good. She pushed and pushed and pushed for several hours and didn't get anywhere. It was late at night and I was really tired and I went to sleep and she woke me up a couple of hours later and she had a tail and two little legs sticking out. I figured that since she worked on it so long that the baby must be dead, so I helped her by wrapping the legs in part of the towel she was on ( for grip) and pulling the baby out while she pushed. Yes, she actually let me do this. The placenta was wrapped around the head, making it bigger and harder to expel. I don't think she could have expelled it by herself without giving herself heart failure. Did I kill the kitten or do you think it was already dead?

My hemingway cat just gave birth to a litter of kittens. The father of the kittens was also a Hemingway and five of the seven kittens have the trait. I'm just wondering if they are worth anything, and if so, how much?
