She is miserable and I can't reach Hartz until tomorrow. I just bathed her yesterday and she gets a bath once a week since she is inside but I have noticed fleas on her today. I use a flea shampoo too. Yikes! I am at a loss about what to do today. I will call the vet tomorrow.

she does this often usually right before we go to sleep. she is 2 years old and has been allowed to sleep on the bed for the last year. I don't think it's a problem, but I think it's weird and funny. I'm wondering why she does it and if any other dogs out there do anything like this.

ok so Im getting a turtle and I want him just to live in my room like literally in my room! lol I setup a little cage thing sort of like a kennel for a dog it has a heater blanket and a lamp above it. I also Have a little spot with pee pads and my vet said i can train them 2 go on the pad! craZ rite? I removed all wires from the floor and anything he can choke on I aldo made the place where his cage is his corner. with food/toys and other things at night i simply will put him back in his cage 2 sleep.here is the problem I have to go 2 skool in september [no duh rite?lol] im worried bout him being out alone! =[ should I just put him in a tank or buy a little play pen for him during the day? & if I do this all do I still need to buy a florecent lite? or is the natrual sunlite from my 2 windows and the lights in my room good enough? & do u have any opinions on how to house him [he is a box turtle bout 5 -6 inches]?

Hows come when you abuse an animal it is taken away and no way can you get it back. But if you abuse a child you can get it back. Some one tell me what is wrong with this.

When my youngest cat gets scratched and petted in the morning, she takes it for a while and then backs away and starts licking her nipples. She will do that for anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes. She doesn't have any separation anxiety issues from being separated from her mother..we still have her. She really gets involved....eyes closed, purrs loudly, etc. What do you think makes her do this?

I contacted the person that owns the dog by email and she has demanded the dog back or she is going to sue. I haven't called the humaine society yet but I don't think that she is going to have a case. I purchased the dog and still have the receipts to prove it.

What does everyone else think?

We have so much conflicting information.
This is for two rex's/teddies (boars): we currently feed them a (small guinea pig sized) bowl of green veggies between them in the morning such as broccoli and cucumber. they have a bowl of dry food in their hutch 24/7. they have a baby corn each when we bring them in for a cuddle, and a bowl of carrot between them for dinner. they also always have hay in their hutch.

the vet, when they went in a while back, said they weren't overweight. it's just that my guinea pig does have a rather large bum! are rex's just a larger breed? or are we over-feeding them?

You know, we all ask, answer and learn here in this particular forum, and I've even asked my own Q's in areas that needed to be asked. A couple weeks ago, this mamamia person got all tight in the pants about who's voting for who. I got fasely accused along with a whole bunch of other people. It was always my impression that we, regardless of little titles by our icons or where we place in mamamia's sacred top ten listing, which I don't place there btw lmfao, that we should be here to assist legitimate questions asked by other hobbiest's.

Ok so someone don't want to take my advice. I should get all blibber blathered because the asker couldn't pick out one for themselves? I should go and look and find out who got picked? Why should that make a difference to me? Are my fish going to die because they don't want to use my input? Well mamamia seems to really give a **** here. So I think so they can go to sleep at night, let's put them in charge of yahoo voting? What you think?

I heard that cats play this game called bite, kind of like chicken. You put your hand neer them and they wait for the oppurtune time to bite it. Is this true? Like a hunting game for them?

My friend has a gorgeous cat and one day I asked her where she got it. She said that her cat lived with teenagers alongside a dog. They made the cat drink tea and coke by not giving it any water so it had no choice, also they put the poor cat on a lead shut the lead in the car door and drove ofso the cat was draged along by the car, and the dog got shouted at and beaten. But her mums friend got the key to thier place and rescued the cat and dog, they both have lovely homes now and the cat was called Maggie.

they eat all their kitten food which is felix and will eat go cat kitten biscuits but they are instantly at their parents food bowls as soon as we put their felix as good as it looks (steaklets) down. the parents do not push the kittens away from. the kittens are also eating adult go cat biscuits. is it alright for them to be doing this, and any suggestions on how to prevent them eating their parents food. i know my adult cats had adult food from six months old but nine weeks i think is really too young. (mum weighs 3.9kg and dad weighs 5.1kg babies all weigh over 1kg in weight.) sensible answers only

My cat is called Suzy and she is 16. She usually stays in the kitchen where her bed is but today she was hiding under my mums bed and just wouldnt move at all. She had a sort of sad / nasty look on her face and yet when I tried stroking her, she did not purr which she always does. I could not tempt her out with food either. I had to push her out but she didnt move her paws at all. Shes been a bit sick lately too, does that have some effect on it? Also, [it may have just been me] but she doesnt walk as steady as she used to and isnt as perky. Is it a wise choice to take her to a vetranarian or is there a simple solution?

My husband and I bought a dog for $200 a month ago. I am now looking on websites about a couple who are looking for a dog that I am 100% sure is our dog. We have paid over $300 to have this dog fixed and vaccinated and is a member of our family now. Do you think we should or have to give the dog back.
